I'm disappointed, but it's probably for the best, for me personally, anyways. I don't want to play too much of it before release. I'm still blown away, though... didn't all the Capcom honchos talk about how much better the Comic-Con demos were received? Figured they'd ditch the E3/Xbox demo selections.

I can't see them releasing another demo with the v-sync issues. Plus the final game has gone gold anyway, so I figure the demo would likely be built around the last version of the game this time. That of course doesn't not take into account any technical differences between 360 and PS3, although Capcom's previous MT titles have had only minor differences (textures here, shadows there) unlike a lot of other companies.

More devs need to take a cue from Volition's Saints Row team on the whole v-sync thing. Saints Row has two filthy awesome options, one for enabling/disabling V-sync during gameplay and another for cutscenes. I don't give a damn during gameplay (most of the time, anyway), but during my cutscenes ... I cry inside if I see horrible tearing.

There aren't really any story-related spoilers, but there is a lot of new gameplay footage in areas we haven't seen yet.

Gametrailers has also posted a new preview, focusing solely on Leon's campaign. Be warned, as this preview shows much more new footage, including cutscenes, than the IGN video preview.
