Man, I've done pretty well staying away from recent gameplay and trailers but I'm starting to get weak! Haha.
Now we have this Spoiler Thread looking me in the face every time I come here and I'm going to have to force myself to stay off this forum until I finish the game. I'm hoping the demo coming on the 18th holds me over until the full game, so I'm not tempted to spoil anything else for myself. This game is looking so friggin' good!
This is probably already known, but I was playing through the demo the other day, and I realized you can string together three trick shots as Helena using the Hydra. If you time it correctly, she does a different "pose" with each successive shot.
I don't know if this is something that can be continued indefinitely or not, as there are only the three rounds in the demo.
Something similar to the Lepotitsa shows up in the Marhawa Desire manga.
Spoiler:
This would explain quite a lot. It would explain where the virus came from in Marhawa Desire, and also why being bitten doesn't infect you. I don't think any of the zombies in BH6 are the result of being bitten, but by coming into contact with the fog spread by the Lepotitsa.
Yep it seems like the C-Virus is good old infection by the source. It's also a great way to control it without the worry of mass spread like the T-Virus.
S'what I've been reading too. I'm still on the fence about this game, I really am. Part of me is coming to terms with what I used to love about the series, gone forever in favor of more and more action.
Even all the improved stuff like the J'avo damage mutations, melee combat, and other things that are really cool...It just keeps feeling more and more like soap opera action, instead of Resident Evil. I guess I'm getting old :/
Resident Evil has always been, at its core, a soap opera, whether intentionally or not.
Pretty much. The series has taken itself seriously since day one. That's mainly the reason why the badly localized dialogue comes off so badly. It attempts to be serious but is completely undermined by the utterly embarrassing way everything is phrased or voiced.
