Hmm the link does not load for me.
Scratch that, loaded now.
"The magazine awarded Resident Evil 6 an impresive score of 9, and describe it as “the glorious return” of franchise and survival horror for current generation".
Bold words indeed but I believe that RE6 can get a few more words of praise like this from other reviews.Last edited by shanemurphy; 09-13-2012, 09:29 AM.

Yea I see your point Sly. I don't know how it is going to be received. Infact I don't even remember seeing one completely positive preview other then IGN's. If RE6 is badly reviewed and sales are affected by it then I can see no other choice then to reboot the series.
Or someone goes to Shinji Mikami and begs like a homeless man for him to come back.
In any case I really should stop letting critics bother me with their reviews.Last edited by shanemurphy; 09-13-2012, 01:50 PM.

but if RE6 goes bad, capcom will not have enough money to bring mikami from bethesda due to RE6 large expensive marketing. im looking for his new game zwei!

I think it's been apparent in recent months that RE6 is a bridge between the first lengthy chapter in the series and the second. I don't know about a "gameplay" reboot coming with 7, but the story is definitely going to have a new focus: all new characters and enemies (both antagonists and BOWs), with maybe just a cameo or two from "classic" characters.
I say this because 5 closed off the main story thread that held all games together up to that point: Albert Wesker (and Spencer, really). Now with 6, we have a bunch of young, new characters being introduced with rumors of Chris and/or Leon being killed off. To me this is why 6 feels like the bridge game between the old storyline threads and new ones. I haven't read many recent spoilers, so I have no idea if either Chris or Leon will die, but if one or both do I think that opens up a new avenue for the story, especially with Wesker and Spencer dead and Raccoon City now a distant memory. Take all that into account and add in the death of Chris and/or Leon and story-wise the series will be completely different going forward.Last edited by Shield Key; 09-13-2012, 04:28 PM.

Yea I agree Rose, we could see returning characters in RE7 but just like RE4 we could see a new revelation in the series. But while saying this I also feel we need a very good closure to the story we have now, Chris might pull a Solid Snake for example.
EDIT: And I also agree with Shield RE6 just seems like the big global outbreak that was always going to happen, the big bang to close off the story lines.Last edited by shanemurphy; 09-13-2012, 04:32 PM.
