Is there anything special about those emblem things?

They don't do anything in the demo, no. In the full game, shooting them apparently unlocks files (character bios, enemy bios, plot information, etc.) that you can view from the main menu. There's supposedly 20-25 in each campaign, some well-hidden, some in plain sight. So just like in RE5, once you've shot them all, there's no reason to shoot them again.

I don't know if anyone else has picked up on this, but the corridor where Leon and Helena have to fight off the waves of zombies while Hunnigan hacks the security system is where the two survivors Leon and Helena saw on the security feed were before getting attacked. You can see the "HELP" sign one of them was holding lying on the floor. I thought that was a really nice touch.

I don't think the game has Japanese VAs. The only RE game that did was Revelations wasn't it?

Hsss! Don't ruin people's illusion of this game just being a cheap hack job.

Also note how each player character, just like in RE5 and Lost Planet, have unique camera directing and handling during cutscenes too.

I've been watching as much RE6 content that doesn't spoil the story as I can, and I have to say... this game will be glorious. At first I had doubts, but with each subsequent demo and the feedback they've been getting, I think this will be a great RE game. I can't really compare it to RE1-3/CVX as the passage of time and technology have since made them completely different animals, but I feel that it will definitely be better than RE5 (I love RE5 mostly, but the presentation was off to me).

The real question is... will it be better than RE4? I know a lot of people here feel that RE4 was "the beginning of the end" and all that nonsense, but BH4 was a brilliant game whose only REAL problem was the localization. Even then, it was still one of the best games ever made. RE4 is definitely going to be the measuring stick I'll use for RE6... and its a pretty damn big stick.

Enough with all that opinionated crap, let's get to the stuff everyone cares about; How will we handle the fact that we'll be getting 3X the average "Sexy alternate lady costume" quotient this time around?

My answer to that is "No." RE4 is some sort of perverted video game perfection. RE fans might not like it, but as a video game fan ... that beast is pure game perfection and a labor of love.

I don't think RE6 will compare to RE4 strictly because RE4 made such a dramatic impact on the video game industry but I do think RE6 will introduce some nice new elements and of course the story looks great, the environments look nice especially China, the enemies are fantastic.

I predict RE6 will be a great game for the series but I also believe Critics will bash the utter shit out of it, and most likely for the wrong reasons.

I'm going to do my best not to mentally compare 4 and 6 while playing. I think Capcom wants 6 to be its own thing and I'll go into the game with that in mind.

I will be very, very surprised if it is. But after playing the demo I'm leaning towards a definite "no." I do think the story will be better, but certainly not the gameplay. RE4 was just so... professionally done.
