Have to say, I am dissapointed from what I've seen. The game looks clunky from gameplay perspective, like you see in Chris gameplay videos that action is clunky and all over the place. Can't really explain, but just watch this around 6 minute mark

You see, those clown dudes doesn't shoot until he goes right up to them.

Jake's gameplay doesn't impress me at all.

Leon's gameplay could be the best, but that also just looks like a window dressing for older game fans.

Not a fan of direction of RE4 took at all, but now it looks like they can't even make action part right. Don't care about the window dressing fan service.

It's very brief however, just some controller settings and some information about the second disc that comes along with the game.

So Jake is only 20? Seriously? This has to be a mistranslation. However, a friend of mind pointed out that it could work canonically because the Soviet Union was collapsing in 91/92 - the same timeframe in which Wesker was working in Umbrella's "information department." So who knows what kind of shenanigans he was getting up to. Possibly running around soon-to-be-former Soviet counties trying to recruit scientists?

What's wrong with that? It fits absolutely perfectly as Wesker has left the Arklay Labs by that point and joined the Information Department. He would then have much more free time to start a family and later abandon them. It was only when he was working full time 24/7 at Arklay from 1978-1991 that he wouldn't have time for a family, and how he questions in WR2 how on earth Birkin had time for a child in 1986.

There's nothing wrong with that, per se. It just makes Jake almost implausibly young. I get that he's that a "rough life" and all but come on.
