Just beat Leon's scenario, enjoying it so far! I keep turning/lowering the scope and finding a zombie standing right in front of me and it scares the shit out of me every time. lol. Helena surprisingly grew on me :O
Also, near tears because I've finally gotten to play Resident Evil 1 Dual Shock Directors Cut <strike>ALPHA X 3!!!</strike> I heard about the differences but this is my first time experiencing them! I love the new soundtrack ;-;
Bad choice my friend, if i where you i will throw this piece of garbage in the dumpster right away, and buy instead the original directors cut without the new retarded music.

Bad choice >D? I got it free because they accidentally gave me the Anthology set.
However, I do agree that Revelations got shafted sales-wise due mostly to the reasons Paul and others have stated: It was exclusive to one handheld with a fairly new install base since it wasn't even a year old yet, while ORC was released on two home consoles, and then the PC as well, and both consoles had 6 or so years to build up a large fanbase.
I think some perspective is needed in that case.
I mean if Revelations had come out on both Vita and 3DS, it would've easily sold above the million mark. On the 3DS it has sold 600.000 units so far. And with the recent price cut, it should sell well into the holidays.
Since we're comparing it sales to that of ORC on the HD twins, consider that ORC didn't even break the million mark on the PS3 or the 360 individually. On the 360, it pretty much sold the same amount Revelations has sold on the 3DS (600k). If ORC had only come out on the 360, it would've been considered as much as a "failure" as Rev on 3DS is. But the PS3's sales helped that title be a success. This when they bundle their sales numbers together.
Revelations should've been a 3DS and a Vita game. If the game had come out for both handhelds, its sales numbers would've proven that gamers do in fact want a more traditional RE game. Because by bundling the sales numbers, Rev sales would've matched those of ORC.
I think Capcom dropped the ball there. But its too late now... as it is, Capcom believes that no one wants a more traditional-like RE game but instead want something like ORC.

Still waiting on the HD port to be released on the PlayStation Store for both PS3 and Vita myself. But CAPCOM have this thing with not doing what anyone actually wants.

There is a petition to get a RE game on Vita. This was done because the director of RE6 said that if fans wanted that, it could happen.
Those guys should really try and have Capcom port Revelations to Vita. They should do that first. Because if they ask for a new game... pfft... it would take ages and by then the Vita could go under and it would probably not be a relevant option for such a new game.

(Also; I'm perfectly fine with having Revelations on the 3DS ... 'cause, like, I have a 3DS ... it has good games ... and it plays my good DS games too)
