  • Anyone else getting into Mercs? Managed to get 14th (7th) on Duo Rail Yard. Only 50k points shy of number 1.

    Anyone had luck spawning secret bosses? I've spawned one on Mining the Depths a few times but no other maps.

      I spawned the secret boss on Urban Chaos but that's it. I have no idea how to get the one on the Rail yard to appear though.

        As they are in the game, the puzzles require a touch-screen. You 'touch' something and you then drag that thing somewhere else across the screen without lifting the stylus. Some puzzles have you 'drawing' lines. Another puzzle has you placing your finger on the screen, so that it can be 'scanned'.

        I suppose they could adapt those puzzles to work with regular controllers. Or replacing them with some other puzzles. But that would require an extra expense by Capcom. The porting itself would cost them from half to a full million dlls to each system. At least that's what Wii ports went for (similar technology as the 3DS).

        • Just finished Chris Chapter 4 and I've literally got a headache.

          Can someone link me to the worst RE6 reviews? I want to see some of the things reviewers have had to say about the game?

                But, is just me or someone notice this game has the famous "marvelous infinite enemy factory" from COD4?

                I get this in 2 spots
                Leon: before use the key in cemitery door i decided to kill some more zombies in order to try get some more ammo
                Ada: when you had to search 3 keycodes in the ship to open a door, when one is left i keep hardly to get the last one

                In booth situation, the enemies just coming with no break for leon and helena
                In ada it infinity span 3 packs of neo umbrella javos

                  • Could someone explain how the new game+ works? It asks if you want to start without the weapons from your previous run and I chose "No" but I still ended up with the default load from the start of the start of campaign so next round I chose "Yes" and it still gave me the same result.

                    • I think it only carries over if you play as the same character you used the first time around. Items carry over though, I think.

                      • Right now after playing Chris' scenario I wouldn't give this game any more than a 6. There's just too many negative points outweighing the positive points, like poor and forgettable stage design, rampant AI, lack or puzzles, lack of items or points to investigate, non stop machine gun action (literally, it never stops), annoying music, complete lack of horror, the list goes on. His scenario was literally painful to sit through and I still haven't finished, I spent most of my time just wanting each chapter to end and finding that I still had more and more to do. The stages are so boring, you just run and shoot, run and shoot, there's nothing else to describe it. It literally had nothing to do with RE besides the characters and storyline, which could have been written on a piece of toilet paper for all I care.

                        I played this scenario first because I knew from the demo that it was going to be the worst, so I still have Leon and Jake to do, at which point I might have other things to say. But that in its self is a negative point, splitting the game up into three scenarios while nice nostalgically is just laziness. The fact of me getting annoyed at one scenario and having no other choice but to play another to get the experience I want is just bad game design, and emphasises all the flaws above. Good game design would be to have three scenarios all well balanced to the point where I enjoy all of them equally, however unfortunately that is not the case, extremes we're met in this regard.

                        The game just lacks substance, it's boring to play through and fails on so many technical points.

                              excluding the whole vehicles gameplay, it was enjoyable for what it propuse

                              leon i miss more of tali oaks in streets and more in china streets, the best and weak explored stuff at his campaign

                                Not in those words no, but I made plenty of legitimate criticisms, not everything I dislike about this game is what it doesn't have. The game is honestly boring, even as an action game it's not very good as it's riddled with fundamental problems. Ultimately Dead Space 2 is a better game imo, by miles, not just because it's a true horror game but just in general. The games design, technical execution, it's just a much higher quality product and so much more enjoyable to play. Like many Capcom products these days RE6 feels like a sloppy cash in, I can't shake that feeling.
