Regarding Ada;

Ada stole the Plaga sample. And again, there remained the existence of a strain capable of giving birth to another one like Saddler. However, Leon was not disappointed. He felt that the probability was low of a worst-case scenario arising from what she took. He believed in his heart that Ada's motives were different than those of Wesker.

The distance between Leon and Ada was growing. Even with like hearts, their paths in life would run parallel to each other for far into the future.

Wonder if they'll stay true to BH4 and Separate Ways, or go the route of Assignment Ada where Ada is truly a bitch.

Piers is a young Chris clone.

I think it's highly possible that several new characters featured in this game will be the future of the series. It would be surprising if Piers, Jake, Sherry (yeah, she isn't new but she's of age to shoot stuff now), and possibly even Helena don't appear in a game other than this. Of course, it's also possible that any of them could die in RE6, but I think we've learned from Revelations that Capcom is too afraid to even kill off side characters anymore.

We all know that video games in general like to have young, bad ass characters to attract the younger audiences. This is evidenced by Capcom's recent statement explaining Jake's character, that "Leon and Chris are getting up there in years, and we wanted to put someone in that younger people (teenage males) could relate to." I would be surprised if this isn't Leon and Chris's last game chronologically (prequels are inevitable).

Between all the different flavours of zombifiying virus, the clones of clones, the mad geniuses and evil corporations and all the retcons and remakes, Resident Evils mythology is a muddy pit from which decipherable continuity has no escape. Somehow though it was all coming to this, every accidental outbreak, every zombified animal, every experiment with the plagas parasite and every stolen phial of toxic goo was leading RE to the moment when the bio-terror cold war would go hot.

On opposite sides of the world targeted terroist attacks turn the city of Lanshiang, China and the American Tall oaks Uni campus into twin ground-zeroes in a new era of terrorism. Caught in the middle of both are Re's Chris and Re2's Leon. Somehow between them in eastern Europe is a merc named Jake Muller although you'd recognise him better as Albert Wesker Jr. Re6 has three campaigns that you can play in any order you please, starting with Leon in the US with Chris in China or with Jake in Edonia. Mullers campaign begins in the fictional Eastern European nation where he was born. The son of Albert Wesker. Mullers blood holds the cure for Re6's new C-Virus which makes him the most vauable man in the world during the 2013's age of global bio-terrorism. 'Jakes story is a story of escape' Says the game director Eiichiro Sasaki. 'He is being followed and he is trying to evade these forces that are trying to capture him in the middle of the Edonian civial war. The horror elements you can introduce in that type of story are different from other characters and the way he will play is different too'

His co-op partner is Sherry all grown up and as much a mutant as Muller. Returnning to the series for the first time since RE2. Sherry is loaded with immunities of her own and has survived in the US goverment custody for the best part of a decade without the G-Virus overwhelming her body. Together they're unstoppable pair of near-invincible self-regenerating superhumans and their campaign is a melle fighter that Capcom are waiting until E3 to properly reveal.

'Sherry was taken into custody by the US goverment because they wanted to follow up on her, experiment on her and check what was up with the G-Virus' Sasaki Explains 'After years of that she moved on and became a special agent in the employ of the US goverment, trying to protect Americas interests in the world. Obviously the G-Virus has affected her and we've tried to come up with a play style for Sherry and Jake that matches the new story we've given for her. We cant tell you directly all the things she can do just yet, but just know Jake and Sherry's style will differ from other characters in the game.

'jake is a battle hardened merc' Sasaki continues. ' He's seen alot, fought alot, he doesnt care about most other people thats not the way he lives. Sherry is compassionate, she cares about other people and she wants to help anyway she can. These two are going to clash in alot of ways throughout the game.'

Chris Redfields story is an all-action shootout on the streets of the fictional city of Lanshiang where a C-Virus attack in the centre has mutated the entire population in ways the mix the worse effects of the T-Virus, G-Virus and Las Plagas. Once infected, creatures ennter a Chrysalid state before emerging in unpredictable new forms.

Alot of this information is new to me but I havent been home alot recently and maybe I have alot of catching up to do let me know.

Sherry and Jake are both going to be super human acrobatic badasses? With health regenerating abilities? I shouldn't have expected anything less but son of a bitch Capcom. Admittedly the gameplay surrounding them sounds cool since I really like how RE4 and 5 handle their melee combat but fuuuuuuuuuck the idea of Jake and Sherry being functionally normal human beings (barring the necessary injections of extra ninjaness as is the series standard since RE4) is what seemed so appealing about the duo in the first place.

None of that is even surprising. Quite a few of the numerous RE6 previews that came up last time mentioned all that.

That's why I said that Sherry was going to slap that huge tank-thing away with one hand (the one seen in the last trailer).

I had a quick flip through and it looks like the game will be exactly as described Jake Melee beat em up, Chris action and Leon survival horror. The Leon part sounds awesome I'm definatley saving that campaign til last. I'll post the rest tomorow sorry guys but its quite abit left and I need to crash.
