        Maybe so. So far, it mostly looks like RE5 with more guns, more sliding and more melee and maybe, just maybe, more horror for at least part of the game. And hopefully a better written story.

          That all sounds like gameplay improvement to me. I have a feeling most would complain even more if it was the same as BH5.

              Check out RE6s HUD here...I gotta say, this shit looks goofy really.
              Guy from Reddit said it looks like a tilted version of the Dead Space menu, not being a Dead Space player I came across this and cant help but wonder :/.

              • I believe that one of the developers said that Dead Space influenced RE6 in some way. I don't like it, either, though. I'm also not liking the lack of a laser sight on the handguns...

                      • Hopefully the HUD can be turned off (like in Mass Effect 2) and a laser sight can be added. However, the removal of the laser sight is probably a necessary decision. This game is apparently going to have more fast-paced action than BH4 and BH5, and a laser sight would be pretty bad for that.

                          • Dead Space's HUD actually makes sense - 3d holograms explaining your logistical supply makes sense on a space ship set in the future. It makes a lot less sense for RE6, but at least the didn't go so far as to have Leon wear a big glowing strip down his back to show his health...

                                It reminds me of the trend in corporate logo redesigns that took hold a few years ago: simplify and tilt it to the left!
