What I'm more mad at is how Capcom chose to almost ignore the original fan base because they made more money with action that survival horror. From a business practice this is a grey zone because you need money to continue, but you also want to keep your customers happy.
I dont think they handled RE5 very well and since it came out we have been getting an increase on action oriented RE games(ORC, Darkside Chronicles, Mercenaries 3d) as opposed to games with some horror in them(Revelations). Overall this is Capcoms decision on how they want to handle things, and when they fuck up its our job to say 'What the hell?'. Its when they don't listen that things become a real problem.
I'm not seeing them really meeting us halfway with the survival horror in RE6 yet, but its hard to judge the game after only about 6 minutes of Leons scenario.
So Shane and Elder, just let it go for now.PROJECT Umbrella - The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

While some may think that's unrealistic and lame, I love that they're going with the Revelations co-op AI where they're basically invincible and you're really just looking out for yourself. They don't get in the way, steal a lot of items, or die continuously. I'm sure there are points where you need to revive them or protect, but overall they don't take damage as easily as Sheva did in RE5. It's the perfect balance.

Luckily, it seems that RE6's AI in single-player is similar to that in Revelations. However, I did notice during Jake's demo that if you get knocked down (run out of health), your AI partner has to pick you back up. If an enemy attacks you before they can do this, you die. I dislike this aspect of the game, and hope it will be changed - you should just die outright if you lose all your health.
Also, was anyone else annoyed during RE5 when you're playing single-player as Chris and aren't able to reach certain areas? Sheva is able to reach them with a boost, but Chris is not. Unfortunately, this aspect seems to be carried over to RE6, as well - in Jake's demo, you can see him give Sherry a boost to a higher level right after the Ustanak chase sequence. I'm okay with that, but only if Sherry can boost Jake up, as well. After all, are we going to have Chris boosting Piers all over the place?Mass production? Ridiculous!

So after watching the Jake Demo over at Capcom Unity I noticed the claw can shoot out like a projectile to collect you and bring you towards the Ustanak. It was cool to hear them also say that the creature can remove the claw and attach other weapons to change up the encounters you have with it so there is not much of a repetition for every encounter.
Edit: Also for those who have gripes with the A.I. in the game it seems they already took care of that issue also. You can apparently toggle in the options depending on your skill set if you want the A.I. to assist you if you need it or if you want to take on enemies on your own.
