Anyone else think Simmons could have been involved with the Wesker project? I was wondering how Ada would know who Jake is when even Jake didn't know, if Simmons was a member of the Wesker project it stands to reason he kept eyes on everything Wesker did, including having a kid.

With how the story has been handled in recent times, I wouldn't be surprised to see Simmons end up like Morgan, Albert, or just fade into obscurity. Same goes for Alex in regards to obscurity. I just don't think the current writers for Resident Evil have what it takes to create a new antagonist (not necessarily the villain) that isn't either insane for power like Wesker and Alexia or a one-shot character. They had something with Morgan, but it is highly likely they've sunk that boat already, since Morgan seems to be forever in jail.

I dunno, Simmons has potential. His whole "we're preventing the problem, not causing it" angle is giving me the willies in a good way.
