There's definitely no (visible) body attached to it. Even if it was coming from above, you should still be able to see the top of it. I took two more screen caps. I know I'm not imagining this.

You can see how there's no body attached to it in this one and can kind of notice an outline above the mouth.

I am shocked there's no CE similar to Europe. The archives/anthology is still a very good deal for what it has to offer, but this is a deal for people new to the series. Cause chances are if you're a fan then you already own most, if not, all of these titles already whether they be digital or hard copies. That's why we need a "collector's" edition to have more swag for our extra dollar.

While I don't know why the US can't have the non-digital CE, I can say is it's obvious as to why that can't happen in Europe and why Capcom would have to make something else for there.

Simply there is now way to make the digital collectors sets universal in Europe.

Not everything is avaliable everywhere (obviously many of them aren't avaliable in Germany, some aren't even in Australia and NZ like CVXHD), and even when it is, it may not work for some people. For example RE2 and RE3 on the PAL PSN are just the US versions because they couldn't get the PAL ones to work, and so you need a HDTV or 60hz capable monitor and so they can't just throw that in incase many people can't get them to work. And then of course the US versions lack the PAL multi-language options.

It's obviously forced them to make something.

I suspect the steelbook will still make it in the US at least, but still doesn't explain why they wouldnt do something decent other than the digital bundle things. I expect lots more upset from US fans over at Unity and a resolve before October.

A new trailer? Knowing Capcom they'll reveal Simmons' plans, who is Carla, what's Ada's role on all of this and show the final boss.

Unity did a poll about bringing the game + jacket to the states and the turn-out was as expected. I wouldn't pay anywhere around $1300 for that no matter how much of a fan I am. The bundle is good for people getting into the series. If there's no CE here then it's not too big a deal.

I expect I'll just get my regular copy of RE6 from the Capcom store cause it comes bundled with an umbrella.

Yeah, you can definitely see it in motion in the trailer. Like you said, you can see the outline of the body moving and distorting what's behind it.

It's a snake coming from outside and BELOW. You can see the body in the 2nd screenshot, the right (glistening black body, probably because of water, and the broken remains of the wall it busts through are stuck on it/flying towards the screen).

But there does seem to be some sort of cloaking. I'm gonna check it out on the PS3 tomorrow, frame by frame on a big screen will make it easier. Will take pics if I see or note anything different.

If I read correctly(I'm mobile), he said its not a snake and that there is some sort of cloaking on the body.

I said it is a snake, and it seems to come from outside, below. HOWEVER, there is some sort of cloaking/disfiguring evident in motion, similar to the invisibility cloak in Harry Potter or the invisibilty augmentation in Deus Ex Human Revolution.

I actually never said that I didn't think it was a snake, just said I thought it was going be another Yawn then noticed it seems to be cloaked. I still think its a giant (cloaked) snake of course. As for it coming from outside/below, I don't see it. There's really no debris I see flying towards the screen, least none that I see in the screen caps I took. Unless you're talking about whatever (meat?) is hanging from the ceiling. It could be coming from any direction though (considering if it is indeed cloaked). I don't really see much of a body (that's visible) besides the black rim of it's mouth.

In the second screen cap, you can notice the long body-shaped outline to right of the mouth. It definitely looks scaly and similar to the shape of a snakes body but it's also distorted/cloaked. Don't really see this black glistening body but perhaps I'm just not looking in the right place...

Code Veronica was an off day for him. His knee pads were left in the duffel bag he accidentally dropped while climbing Rockfort to save his sister. I'd say he was most vulnerable without them.
