Come on then - who is the Pursuer in Jake's scenario? They are bound to do something with him - he'll turn out to be Steve or something ridiculous.http://www.projectumbrella.net The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

I see what you are saying Newsbot, but that came from a time when the series didn't have it's huge back log of characters that it could potentially be. Remember at the time all the hilarious theories of who Nemesis was.
Nemesis is Wesker!
Nemesis is Rebecca!
Nemesis is Barry!
It was theorized rather ridiculously at the time, so now the series does actually have a large backlog of characters, I can actually see Capcom pulling this kind of shit. When I played through Umbrella Chronicles HD, although they admittedly pulled it off within the game, the appearence of the Red Queen is an utter fail and a hopeless reference to Anderson, and that is canon. I can see them being similarly influenced with making something as Ustanak as important to the series somehow.http://www.projectumbrella.net The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

One thing I noticed while watching the subway demo is that they've now separated item pickups from context sensitive actions on the controller. At least when you have two in close proximity, anyway.
In Resident Evil 4 and 5, if there was an item right next to, say, a ladder, you would have to pick up the item before you could climb the ladder (unless you somehow managed to finagle your way in between the two and change the button prompt). Now, you pick up the item with the Square button (presumably X on the 360 controller), and press the X button (A on 360) to perform the context sensitive action.
You see this when Leon is by the ledge next to the train car. There's a box of ammo lying next to the ledge, and when Leon approaches it, he can pick it up with Square or climb the ledge with X.
