Or maybe we can choose which one we want to use..?

    • The game technically isn't finished yet. They're probably making tons of tweaks.

      • It's awesome how Leon and Sherry crash the bus through into the other area, I was expecting the crossover parts to be just more fire power but this boss fight seems like it takes place through stages.

        • Come on then - who is the Pursuer in Jake's scenario? They are bound to do something with him - he'll turn out to be Steve or something ridiculous.

They didn't make Nemesis-T anyone in particular, why would they do that for the Ustanak? No point.

                ... but Paul W.S. Anderson said ...

                • I see what you are saying Newsbot, but that came from a time when the series didn't have it's huge back log of characters that it could potentially be. Remember at the time all the hilarious theories of who Nemesis was.

                  Nemesis is Wesker!
                  Nemesis is Rebecca!
                  Nemesis is Barry!

It was theorized rather ridiculously at the time, so now the series does actually have a large backlog of characters, I can actually see Capcom pulling this kind of shit. When I played through Umbrella Chronicles HD, although they admittedly pulled it off within the game, the appearence of the Red Queen is an utter fail and a hopeless reference to Anderson, and that is canon. I can see them being similarly influenced with making something as Ustanak as important to the series somehow.

                  • Just pointing out that the Leon subway video is the first time we've seen PS3 footage of the game.

                    • The RE6 demo is available for 360 Dragon's Dogma owners on Tuesday, right? The marketplace usually updates around 5am EST/10am GMT.

Doubtful but we'll see. Looking forward to trying the demo tomorrow anyway.

                        • One thing I noticed while watching the subway demo is that they've now separated item pickups from context sensitive actions on the controller. At least when you have two in close proximity, anyway.

In Resident Evil 4 and 5, if there was an item right next to, say, a ladder, you would have to pick up the item before you could climb the ladder (unless you somehow managed to finagle your way in between the two and change the button prompt). Now, you pick up the item with the Square button (presumably X on the 360 controller), and press the X button (A on 360) to perform the context sensitive action.

You see this when Leon is by the ledge next to the train car. There's a box of ammo lying next to the ledge, and when Leon approaches it, he can pick it up with Square or climb the ledge with X.

                          • I must say I am surprised the Chris demo from the Summer Jam was not shown or even leaked in a badly recorded video.

Thats a good thing. Since they switched it, i can open a door without picking up ammo first while im trying to run from enemies

                              • Capcom's still one of the companies that're the most receptive to criticisme and somehow (trying) to act on it.
