  • Can you blind fire from cover? If so, I have yet to figure out how to do it.

    I do like that you can switch between semi-auto and full auto with the automatic weapons.

    I also like that if you're in the middle of a roadie run, you don't have to constantly press A to climb ledges, jump over gaps, etc. It's automatic.

    • Okay guys I have seen a stream of Chris's demo and these demos must be on Easy, the enemies die far to quickly for it to be on normal.

      • It certainly seems like it's set on easy. Even Ustanak goes down pretty easy. I died my first time in Chris' demo, though.

          The game is great. What needs to be stressed for people criticizing the camera and controls is that they are fully customizable and a little tweaking leads to a significantly better experience.

          Also, this is an old demo build (E3) set to Easy with very poorly chosen segments. The actual game will be significantly improved. Same situation happens with almost all BIO demos. Even at that, it will be a very polarizing game, and those who aren't aware that it can be customized will likely hate it.
          Lol because I dont like a game? Thats my opinion. I think it sucks. Its the only RE game apart from side games that I have never liked. Gimme a break. Its not about the a.i. either I dont know about the a.i. I havent played it yet. I just think the gameplay mechanics are poor and its a melee attack fest. I dont care what other people think but I know that I think its pants.

          • The game is looking pretty good, very action oriented but that's expected, also, it reminded me a lot of Max Payne 3. Too bad I can't play it because Capcom hates PCs.

                      • Just finished Leon's. The camera is definitely way too close when aiming. It actually looks like they tried to find a middle-ground between the two perspectives in Revelations. Apart from that, was alright. Onto Chris.

                        • Finally got it working, two minutes into Leons demo and and a knock at the front door, to my amazement there is no pause function, even the system menu is real time, in a solo game, played offline.

                          WHat kind of backwards ass design is this.

                          • I think a longer version of the Subway would have been a better Leon demo, being the start of his campaign the build up just does not suit a replayable demo.

                            • Few thoughts so far;

                              -Love the new running/dodging mechanics, but took a while to get used to them
                              -Love the fact that contextual environment stuff is automatic whilst running (Like free running in Assassin's Creed, basically)
                              -Camera is a bit shaky on default, but can fortunately be adjusted in settings to be slightly more stiff
                              -Aim seems to misbehave a bit during "LOOK HERE" moments (likely to be fixed in final, I suppose)
                              -Wish they'd take away camera control from the player in more scenes (especially like the running sequence with Jake/Sherry), as camera movement seems to interrupt other actions and also alter movement direction.
                              -Like the story cutscenes
                              -Leon's demo segment is a bit too fucking dark, though or the flashlight should've had a wider spread for its light (+again; camera is all over the place thanks to being affected by stick, objects around you and partner. Also, headmountet flashlight misbehaves by following camera and not character's head movement)
                              -Chris' demo segment could need some more light. Love how it's a good playground for testing out new functions, though.
                              -Jake's segment was nice enough. Would've probably loved it more if there wasn't shit all over the place during the boss fight (Yeah, yeah, he can clean it out for you. I know.)
                              -RE: Light - Adjusting brightness/contrast settings is not a viable option, as it'll still wash out the colors.
                              -No split-screen co-op this time around?


                              Anyone found any emblems, by the way?
                              Seems like there's at least a couple of them snucked away in the demo areas.
