I just would have preferred that it be handled "under the hood," so to speak. Since they're experience points, I would rather acquire them through actually doing things like accomplishing certain tasks or taking out enemies in an efficient and timely fashion rather than picking them up from crates or dead enemies. It's a nitpick, I know, but I guess it just comes from my years of playing RPGs.
It will not, however, affect my enjoyment of the game.Last edited by Archelon; 07-03-2012, 06:57 PM.

Christ that didn't take long.
I call out all of you - please don't fucking ruin this game by bringing the spoilers of the demo into this thread.http://www.projectumbrella.net The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

I played the PS3 version at E3...and I have to admit that the controls on the 360 feel a lot better. Love the character select screens as well, which were certainly added after E3. Out of the 3, Jake and Chris offer the best as far as gameplay. I agree with Stu: Leon's is ok but its such a slow drag. Just like in the previous time I played, I spent most of my time amusing myself by kicking at Helena and the other guy, or thanking Helena for standing around doing nothing. While I don't mind exactly, I still have mixed feelings about the melee. While playing as Chris I think the only times I ever shot an enemy were when the flying ones were out of reach. Even the arm guys got their faces smashed into the walls. Maybe its just because Chris is a beast.sigpic
Are you tired, Rebecca?

Which is why I made a sperate thread, so far I haven't found any spoilers in it, just names of characters (Ada confirmed, but we knew this already), some guns and weapons, possible Chris story segment, and some of the operational vehicles that we will man. Nothing spoiler-ific so far.
I myself am cautious, the moment I see something that can be story, I'm hitting that red X on the window like I'm stopping some sort of detonation lol.

I posted 100 screenshots up until I died of Leons campaign, was too busy hitting the screenshot button to notice what was happening.

I dont see everyones problem man you get bitter when someone dislikes something that you like. I am putting my point across and get told to stfu. I cant wait untill the game comes out and you all start the release bitching fest Im gonna tell you exactly the samething. I just start with my expectations low and then cant be dissapointed you all start high and then are devestated. The game is looking shit IN MY OPINION! You think it looks good does that mean because we disagree I can be rude to you?
Edit: Seriously just watched Chris's demo. I'd call it shit but that would be an insult to shit.Last edited by CrimsonElder; 07-03-2012, 08:20 PM.

Good thing is, it seems we won't have to sell our treasures manually.

Just played the demo... God dammit Capcom, I like it.
I loved Leon scenario's atmosphere, while you didn't do anything, the vibe was definetly reminescent of oldschool RE. Then we get to the parking lot... Awesome zombie sauce! Love the fact that you can trip with corpses.
Chris' was also good. I love manly epic shooters. This felt right home for me. Redfield is full on asshole mode and it shows. Haymaker-ing everyone was such a delight. I see this scenario is not for all of the oldschool fellas. It's pure action, RE5 all over again...
And then there's Jake. Ustanak gave me that Nemesis vibe I was expecting. Stalker monsters were needed so bad on newer RE games. Shame this part of the demo is soooo short.
Glad to see they finally ditched the classic controls for proper TPS scheme. Crosshair wasn't really helpful, so it's good ol' laser dot for me.
You have my money Capcom, well done.
