The PS3 packshot only has 1 disc, so I presume it isn't an 'extras' disc. I'm actually glad it is two discs, means they not gonna cut content to fit it onto one like they did with LP2.Beanovsky Durst - "They are not pervs. They are japanese."

I like having multiple discs, it reminds me of how much "bigger" the game is compared to single disc games. Now of course that isn't always true in the literal sense, sometimes it could be multiple discs filled with crap, as would MGS4 be if it was on the 360, but it's nice to have the feeling that you're playing something "bigger" than your average game. As long as something hasn't been compromised like what happened with FFXIII I'll always go with the 360 version. However this game runs on MT Framework so it's pretty much guaranteed that it's the PS3 version that will be making compromises somewhere, like most of if not all MT Framework games.Last edited by Guest; 07-03-2012, 09:54 PM.

Considering the sheer scope of this game, two disks is not surprising.PROJECT Umbrella - The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

Dragon's Dogma is another example.

I just purchased Dragon's Dogma.
It plays like a very poor man's Skyrim, whilst the cliche Die Hard demo that comes with it feels like the last ramblings of a desperate madman. I feel the makers of this demo have an extraordinary low opinion of the human intellect......my god, what a load of fucking shit this series has become.
I would have preferred a survival horror game for this generation of consoles, rather than a contrived mess of Chuck Norris nostalgia.
(NO puzzles, TOO MUCH ammo, CONSTANT partner system draining all the tension away.....WESKER'S SON replacing the Wesker Children narrative = A bad fucking joke)

Glad to see it's on two discs - adds a degree of credibility to Capcom's claims of how long the game will be.

You were treated with the same dis-respect ANYONE on here would get for being dumb enough to talk about how shit a game is without playing it. So suck it up.

But having played the Leon demo considerably, it appears that those now at the helm of RE presume survival horror merely to be a slowed down version of RE5.
RE4 got this balance absolutely perfectly, on 1 disc, with 1 gameplay style, rather than this behemoth of content that (if the demo is anything to go by) may fail spectacularly in this regard. I may still very much enjoy this game as the production value is huge, but not in the same engrossing & immense manner that RE2 inspired.
I'll reserve full judgment until I have played the other 2 character gameplays, but if Leon's style is what is now considered to be the survival horror alternative to the action, then the series as I knew & loved it is truly dead.Last edited by GEORGE TREVOR; 07-04-2012, 06:12 AM.

That seems reasonable, give or take. Each stage is also split up into chapters.PROJECT Umbrella - The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium
