I didn't say it was boring. I said it was lacking in enemies. It functions as a nice intro for the final game itself, but as a demo, it was basically 15 minutes of hall walking. A lone zombie or two could have been shoehorned in there, for demo's sake. It wouldn't have detracted from "giving us setting, atmosphere and development".Last edited by biohazard_star; 07-07-2012, 11:08 AM.Seibu teh geimu?

Well I agree with one of the guys criticism that Chris' demo has weak space and direction. Especially with the movement they've gave the characters, small areas are just awkward to navigate.Beanovsky Durst - "They are not pervs. They are japanese."

This should have been Leons Demo:
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
IGN and it's silly shit:
Absurd Loading Times - Talking about complaining about nothing, were was these Absurd loading times when the demos loaded up the first time?
Screen Tearing - Yep they need to improve on the tearing.
The MT Framework Engine Hasn’t Aged Well - I see nothing wrong with the visuals, but I guess if you don't have huge set pieces running on the Unreal Engine 3 it's considered crap these days.
Getting Dumped Back to the Main Menu When You Die - Just...just stop, this is something that should not even be mentioned for obvious reasons.
The Beginning of the Jake Section is an Annoying QTE - Actually it's not a QTE it's completely in-game and it is up to you as the player to use the god dam sprint button and run away from the big unstoppable menace.
Walk, Loading Screen, Walk Some More- A build up to the first encounter with a enemy, poor section to include in a demo but complaining about the atmospheric build up of Leon's scenario? come on.
Drunk Chris Loses Focus - Wait until you play the game on a challenging difficulty setting, then come back and say it was not intense.
The Red Barrel Panacea - You say if it was 1997 it would be great, but then why was RE4 so highly regarded and it came out a lot later then 1997? it had the barrels to defeat boss's.
Anyway, that is my little rant, my biggest gripe being the exaggeration of the loading times and his close minded view on the time Leon's demo takes place.

Okay I think camera options is definately in the game, let's look at this gameplay from Leon that was at E3 one more time:
Leon gets trapped in a zombie infested city and must find a way to escape in this E3 demo of Resident Evil 6.Subscribe to IGN's channel for reviews, news, an...
Look at the camera, it must be optional surely???

Fucking LOVE this scene!
Realise I'm probably late seeing it - but god the characters in this game are absolutely awesome. Sherry is quickly becoming one of my favourite characters.

It's a great scene yea.
I also love the gameplay, Leon and Sherry get split up and while Jake and Helena must survive the battle Leon and Sherry have to get that bus to crash through the gates, and by the looks of it that electric tower will be the next part of the battle.
The boss battles are looking amazing so far to me, not just quick bang bang the boss is dead but long and filled with tension spanning multiple areas and rooms, a proper boss fight.

The red barrel one made me laugh - shooter-type games have been using red barrels as a fun way to eliminate groups of enemies for decades now, and it shouldn't change. It's one of the cheesy charms of gaming, and it's been part of the RE series since RE3.
Aside from the boring Leon demo (which is presumably the start of his campaign, so I'll let it fly), I'm really digging the locations we've seen thus far in Tall Oaks. It reminds me a lot of Outbreak-style Raccoon, which I absolutely love (it always felt more like a real city in the Outbreak games than it did in RE2 and RE3). You've got the university (Decisions, Decisions), the subway (Underbelly), and a street area (various scenarios). Me likey.
Edit: Played the demo again last night, and I still find Jake's scenario to be the most interesting. The other two are simply boring compared to that awesome Ustanak boss fight. I decided to challenge myself by destroying all the red barrels before I triggered Ustanak, which made the fight more grueling. Still found enough magnum ammo to waste him, though.
Does it annoy anyone else that while playing solo, Sherry has access to a red herb that Jake cannot get? Sherry's handgun also annoys me with the laser sight above the barrel.Last edited by Det. Beauregard; 07-07-2012, 04:05 PM.Mass production? Ridiculous!
