Not sure if that is official or fanmade, but the cover photo is interesting. Amongst the several RE terms (Biohazard, Umbrella, Tricell, Lanshiang, Tall Oaks, etc), it also says Nemesis next to Chrysalide.

So Ustanak is based off of the Nemesis, using the C-Virus? Or possibly that 4th remaining Nemesis injected with the C-Virus?

There is no 4th remaining Nemesis.

That page also "likes" Rely On Horror. Credibility down the toilet.

      • Could've sworn read somewhere that 4 Nemesis were made, 1 failed, 1 attacked Umbrella and had to be put down, 1 was sent after STARS, and the 4th was unused.

And as for the Rely on Horror, then eh, guess it's nothing after all.

That was in the made-up "NEMESIS REPORT" found in some Chinese guide. The actual source it's based on doesn't mention a specific number, just that several were made.

          • Sucks, I actually liked the concept of a Nemesis attacking Umbrella but had to be put down, and that there was still one out there. Oh well.

Ustanak is Agent Coulson. Wait, that's not what I meant...

That link you posted is hilarious if you read the comments. Everyone is bitching about their being 4 hours of cutscenes (before Capcoms update)
"Whos' really going to watch 4 hours of cutscenes???" ahhhh. The casual gamers of today. Too trigger happy to even enjoy a story.

                  • What a fucking load of shit. Go play MGS4 and sit through 9 hours of cutscenes and then come talk to me.

I don't understand what the uproar is about. There's four scenarios and four hours of cutscenes. A few of those scenes will be the same ones in different scenarios, just seen from different perspectives, like how when Leon/Helena/Jake/Sherry meet up and fight Ustanak. When playing as Leon you'll see it from his perspective, when playing as Jake you'll see it from his. It's really, REALLY not that big of a deal.

                    • Some guy actually said that Capcom is making him want RE6 less because the game will have a big story to it...

                      Mind blown!

                      • People should go check the total amount of non-interactive scenes in most of the RE games, you'd be surprised by how much time you can actually spend doing nothing but "Shut up and watch/listen" in those games (if you just run all cutscenes back-to-back) ;D

4 hours in total for at least 3(4?) scenarios? Doesn't really sound too bad. +If other Capcom games are anything to go by; Cutscenes are entirely skip-able (with the exception for the lead-in segments to any evt. QTE sequences). Also, like Vector said, depending on how they do cutscenes in RE6 (since the demo didn't show any of that yet), there might be a lot of duplicate cutscenes in that ratings estimate/submission too (where one character sees stuff the other(s) does not, based on player interaction or choice), so they "might" also finally have adopted branching/variable cutscenes for all we know too

                        • Personally, 4 hours isn't enough cutscenes for me! Okay, so i'm not being 100% serious, but I like the RE canon so much that the more story the better.

I felt the same way too. "ONLY 4 hours? I was hoping for 6 but...oh well."

I know, and people whine about this?! What are they thinking?! I'm actually a little disappointed that there isn't MORE cutscene action. It's such a big story, it deserves to be fleshed out completely.

We must find him and court-marshal him from the RE fandom. And then.... release the carnivorous weasels.

That would be pretty awesome for replay value. But, if that were the case, that would mean that there would be less cutscene for your money, being only a handful of variable cutscenes and a few anchored scenes. I'd rather have a lot of anchored scenes, myself.
