Capcom must think the chainsaw enemy is something the fans want since RE4. The issue with that though is that enemy in RE4 was representing a Texas Chainsaw leather face type enemy it does not need nor suit being on all these other monsters.

No kidding, not to mention the fact that with RE4, it was new. Having it be in almost every other game afterwards is getting old. Especially since its always just a reskin, but it still attacks the same damn way.

In better news though, I'm digging the chrysalid designs a lot. Hope there's a good variety to them.

Yup. I'm fine with four hours of cutscenes. I want my game experiences to last long. As long as the gameplay is about the same amount of time for each character we are ok.

Just watched the Jake demo. The graphics look gorgeous. I love how the characters react to events in-game.

Has anyone else been thinking about which campaign to play first? I'm scared that playing one campaign is gonna spoil events that happen in the others, since they all intersect. I'm not sure which one I want to pop my cherry with. I'm leaning towards Chris.

I think its pretty obvious that one campaign will spoil the major events in the others. I'm sure there will be things that are new/different in each though such as boss fights, etc. As for me, I'm playing through the game first as Leon.

I think I'm going to play as Chris first. Feels right somehow.

I think it makes the most sense to play Jake's scenario last, since he's the new guy (coupled with a character we haven't seen in 15 years). As for Leon and Chris, I guess it doesn't really matter which one you play first. I'll be playing Chris's first so I can get the generic military shooter crap out of the way.

Edit: Are there any non-streaming links to the demos yet? The stream at Capcom Unity never works for me.

Chris, Leon, then Jake, for me. I may switch Leon and Jake, but definitely Chris first.

In Jake's demo, the guy from Capcom confirmed a few things:

- No RAID mode
- Claire is mentioned in the game

The dev teams recommend playing Leon, Jake and finally Chris.

It makes sense, Leon's begins slowly, and Chris' seems to be where all the plot points converge and the game ends in a series of explosions, choppers and mutants.

However, the best chronological order seems to be:

Jake Serbia
Chris Serbia
Leon Tall Oaks
Jake China
Leon China
Chris China

That is possible because the developers said we can leave chapters anytime to start another. I am definitely going with the above order on my solo playthrough, otherwise I am getting the slow gameplay of Leon out of the way first, bridging with Jake and ending appropriately with Chris and all the explosions.

People do realize that the dev team said some time back that you could swap between the campaigns in any order you want from the start right? Just play them all.... one chapter at a time if you're so worried about spoiling the story. Leon, Chris, Jake, repeat. XD

Yeah, if that truly is how we can do it then I might go that route. Just rotate all three campaigns one chapter at a time. Though then I still have to decide the order I'll play those in, so i'm back to the same dilemma. Haha.

Oh jesus, so we got yet again ANOTHER chainsaw boss... At the very least, replace the chainsaw with something else... So sick of it at this point.
