Poor Alfonso and the rest of the BSAA agents, murdered on a Christmas. And Chris, killing BOWs and his own comrades while others are home celebrating. Seriously, these guys have the worst lives EVER.

        • It pisses me off how you have to pick and choose scenarios in order to get the most 'complete experience' or whatever. This makes me dislike the whole three-big-scenarios thing.

It just adds to the magnitude of the tragedy. "AND it was Christmas Eve!"

I bet it will come down to a matter of preference, just like Leon and Claire's scenarios in RE2. I was thrilled when Claire A/Leon B ended up being canon, but we didn't know that for a long time.

And they were two days from retiring too!

Actually, all four scenarios are canon. The BH2 plot is an amalgamation of events that occur in all four.

Dr. Salvador, while he was cool in RE4, it's starting to get a tad bit tiring now, no matter what skin hes wearing. It's still the same enemy, and you still fight him the same way. He's not a normal enemy, he's a mini-boss that shows up on occasion. It's just ridiculous to think wherever these characters go, someone just HAS to have a chainsaw on them in their path (or in this case, a chainsaw hand made out of flesh.... How does that even work?). It'd be as if they took the giant crocodile or yawn, or hell, any boss from the old series, and put them in the next four games in a row and just re-skinned them. It's a little annoying and a little lazy.

Hopefully there won't be a lot of these chainsaw guys anyway... Other than that though, I can honestly say the rest of the game looks great.
How is it ridiculous? In the 3 games they have been they are in locations where it makes sense (rural villages). And working on that logic Tyrants were repetitive too then

                  • Still don't know how the Skagdead seem to have chainsaw engines. A rotating mass of bone would not really make a sound in general.

If we're talking about enemies that are repetitive, what about those damn slower moving zombies? They were in 4+ damn games, they had some new enemies for a couple of games, now they're rehashing them again. I mean- Oh wait.

Thus the fickle nature of RE fans is revealed.

                      • I was worried Zombies would be the only enemies for Leon's campaign but cerberus and crows and others are in there to.

Was this ever in question? Fans are generally frustrating folk.

Do you have an actual source that says its made by the bones? Because I think that the sound is actually made by the giant mouth.

That was a face to palm connection for me. Another chainsaw? Fetish perhaps? I have to agree that the whole chainsaw thing is getting out of hand.

Tyrants were mass produced by Umbrella, so obviously they were in many games since the lot of them took place in or around Umbrella labs. If I see another fucking chainsaw in RE7, the setting better be in Lowe's or Home Depot.

I was guessing that the sound came from the bones, because I don't see anything else it can come from. Even if it's the mouth... how does it replicate a chainsaw motor? Better yet, why does it replicate a chainsaw motor?
