Takeuchi had some of the best ideas (Chris and Barry co-op, come on, who could NOT love that!?), the whole zombies and Tyrants again (including one killing Excella on Wesker's orders in the same manner one "killed" Wesker). He also wanted Chris to start out with a magnum, the Lightning Hawk if I remember correctly (before the dev team changed it to his M93R).

Then he also had the hallucinations gameplay, along with the whole dehydration as well if I recall correctly.

And the RE5 of 2007 looks like it could have been one of the best Resident Evil titles and games in general.
Too bad all of those were scrapped. Criminals. Criminals I say.

None of those were Takeuchi's ideas (aside from what Arch already stated). And the hallucinations (really just eyes adjusting to light and then dark and back) and dehydration were never planned for the game. Or they were, but Takeuchi himself brushed them off as a mistranslation.

He wanted Chris to carry a .45, like a Colt 1911. The rest of the team protested and gave Chris a Beretta M92F instead. Supposedly behind Takeuchi's back, at that.

Also, co-op was Takeuchi's idea. He was the one who really pushed for it.

Just to clarify, the pistol Chris starts out with in RE5 is the Beretta M9 (Also known as the Beretta 92FS). The M93R is a pistol built on the same frame with a collapsible/removable stock that has three round burst capability. It's also unlockable in RE5, as I'm sure you know.

Edit: Oh, and Takeuchi always said how they will explain and show us, and let us experience, what Chris experienced for the last 10 years. Never made it into the final game either (unless you count the files, and the Spencer Estate flashback), which was hardly "experiencing".

Unless you're looking for a airsoft version (i.e. toy), I don't think you'll find one in either place. xD

You know he's going to murder you with that thing, right? xD fyi, Beretta stopped producing the M93R just at 20 years ago. It's pretty rare now and one can run well into the multiple thousands.

Yeah, we agreed on something like the KWA M93r pistol (gas, more realistic but more maintenance compared to electric) for now; and maybe grab a Samurai Edge with it:

The longer barrel on Barry's looks nice, and the slim build, but the REmake look on the ones based off the game are hard to pass up as well lol. Prices are decent too.
