Resident Evil Revelations - The Official Spoiler Thread

I know we already have a Revelations-specific topic, but I thought it might be a good idea to create a separate one strictly for discussions regarding the game that involve spoilers.

You do not have to use spoiler tags in this thread, and you can discuss anything from the story to characters to bosses and so on. News-related articles or reviews should still be posted in the other thread, so people can keep up to date without fear of spoiling the game. I imagine there are lots of people who have already played and beaten the game and can't wait to begin discussing it with others.

Halfway through my second playthrough. Pretty much have everything worked out now except for a few little bits:

If the whole Valkoinnen Mokki base was a set up by O'Brien, who were the men posing as Veltro soldiers that were attacked by Hunters and who gave the order to launch the plane carrying the wolves?

Did Lansdale send in the Farfello Hunters because he found out the BSAA had found the facility and could access the computer records?

How did Veltro first come into possession of the three ships?

Those ships were given to Veltro by Morgan along with UAV.

About Valkoinnen Mokki base I still can't that one worked out...If everything and everyone in than base were soldiers send by O'Brien, doesn't that mean he realy fucked things up, cuz those soldiers were all killed?

EDIT: I still don't know how O'Brian find those ships and hide them for one whole year...

Yeah, that's what I can't work out. They couldn't be BSAA soldiers 'acting' the part of Veltro as O'Brien couldn't reveal any of his plans to anyone in the BSAA as he didn't know who the mole was.

The ships were infected in 2004 during the Terragrigia Panic and yet a research team were still aboard the Zenobia in the labs working on a vaccine which they completed in 2005. However, once the research data was sent, Lansdale released the Hunter BOWs kept in storage on the ship to kill all the survivors.
But who did this research team work for? The GPC? And once he got the vaccine data, why didn't Lansdale destroy the ships?

My theory is they worked for Lansdale himself. He hired them as part of FBC counter bioterror program. He ordered them to find vaccine on T-Abyss. Of course a few of the researchers know the whole truth but Lansdale bribe them or something. GPC find this out and offered help on T-Abyss knowing one day they'll send Jessica a steal it. Or this whole game is one big plot hole.

About Valkoinnen Mokki base, maybe O'brien just hired some mercenearies. Their orders probably were infect wolf and send them on Chris and Jessica, but Morgan send hunters on them before they can executed their mission. O'Brian is indirectly responsible for their deads so that's why he step out from BSAA director after this operation.

Nah, I still believe Jessica works for The Organization. I think the GPC, ignorant as they are, had honorable intentions. It would kind of ruin the whole legacy of the work they did to form the BSAA, re-organise it, and bring down Umbrella if it turns out they are just as bad themselves.

I think The Organization is the GPC. Seriously they help with T-Abyss creation and the whole BSAA act may be just cover up for better public opinion and that kind of shit. Also The Organization just need a real name.

I'm not really sure why if Vester and Jessica were working together she tried to shoot him, twice. It doesn't entirely fit with them both being double agents and certainly not triple agents.

Just finished it - really enjoyed it. The final boss really kicked my ass

Still racking over the story and stuff - really enjoyed it though, and the greatest suprise for me was when Kirk showed up - absolutely legendary cameo. Also liked the glimpse toward Lost In Nightmares.

So are we assuming that Jessica is infact 'the bitch' in Resident Evil 6 then?

Also slightly irked that there's some exclusive content in the trailers of all places that isn't in the game. Mainly Rachel's story before she gets killed.

Agreed about Kirk. I wasn't expecting that at all. Also TGS 2011 trailer is now some sort of prequel for Revelations

Did he though? The ship was infected in 2004 which killed most of the crew and all the survivors were killed in 2005 after Lansdale released the Hunters following the completion of the vaccine data.

All the trailer does is make it appear Veltro have hijacked the ship and infected the crew, which is what we are supposed to think.
