Its good that they went back to flesh out the BSAA thing of RE5. I wonder if Keith and Quint are part of the original eleven too.

Haven't been here for a while but has anybody discussed the fact that Jill keeps getting injected with weird anti-viruses since RE3? LOL
Anyway dunno if you guys know about this lil' glitch here... it saved me some ammo:
INSTRUCTIONS BELOW:
Spoiler:
INSTRUCTIONS: After you beat the Boss "Draghignazzo" you get the Il Veltro Key Card. You then start EPISODE 7 by being asked to go to the DECK and activate the UAV drone. But instead of going there, you must backtrack to the CAFETERIA. Go there and continue into the corridor outside of the LIBRARY. Once you're in the corridor, you must pay attention to the doors that lead to the LIBRARY. You will notice that RACHEL's hands, arms or head sometimes will start protruding through the doors. Walk to the door on the RIGHT (Jill's right) and you will get confirmation that the glitch worked when Parker makes a comment about having to face RACHEL again. Stand right next to the door and start KNIFING at Rachel through it repeatedly (do NOT go inside the Library!). You should connect several hits on her by constantly knifing the door. It will take some time but eventually, you will KILL her with only the knife. Thus saving a lot of AMMO in the process.
NOTE: This very same tactic also works when Parker Luciani has to make his way alone to the BRIDGE in EPISODE 10. Instead of taking the short cut through the PROMANADE area to reach the elevator that takes you to the BRIDGE (and having to face several HUNTERS in the process plus some Scarmiglione enemies), you should go to the CAFETERIA instead. Once there, use the staircase to reach the 2nd floor. Walk into the Exhibit Room. Be alert! Because inside RACHEL awaits you. Avoid her attacks and do not waste time shooting at her. Instead focus your attention on trying to reach the other door in the room. Run like hell to reach it (you might have to evade another enemy or two on the way) and go through it. RACHEL will follow you as you run to the door. Once you're on the other side, look at the door behind you and you should see RACHEL's hands/arms or head coming through the door. Take out Parker's Axe and start slashing the door with it. It's not as accurate as Jill's knife but it does more damage. Since Parker should kill RACHEL in less time than Jill does with the knife. Anyway, once you kill her go inside and pick up the item she leaves behind. After that, you can go ahead to the BRIDGE by continuing through the rest of the rooms (you will face some Oozes on the way but they're relatively easy to deal with unlike the HUNTERS and Scarmiglione's at the PROMANADE area). The best thing is that you won't face RACHEL again on your way to the BRIDGE. Just regular Oozes.Last edited by Pikminister; 02-21-2012, 03:11 PM.Stuff to remember: Avoid forums if you're having a bad day.

Personally, while I think Revelations was an improvement compared to RE5, it's not up to the best quality of the RE series. It's not a hallmark game like RE4 or as great as REmake and RE2, but it's not as "meh" as 0, CV, and 5 either. It's a middle of the road entry like 3 IMO.A man chooses...a slave obeys.

I loved the game, it was probably my favorite since RE0. I got the BH Revelations navigation/art book on it's way, the scans I've seen show a lot of great concept art and creature details. Cool trick, I didn't know about that one but I killed several ooze creatures that way as well. I would just run in to a room, lead them towards the door, exit, hug the door and then wait for it to start bleeding through the door and slash away with the knife. Comes in handy sometimes, though it takes quite awhile lol.Last edited by REmaster; 02-21-2012, 09:32 PM."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."

Anyway, RE3 used to be my 2nd favorite Jill Valentine game (REmake is still #1). I used to play it a lot. More than the rest.... not my 2nd fave Jill Valentine game is Revelations. And this comes from a proud Jilluminado
I like how she takes charge of things even with Chris in tow.

Here's another tip: At the point where Jill & Parker need to activate the UVA drone at the Helipad, you'll face a lot of HUNTERS. Instead of facing them at the Helipad, run inside the ship. Make sure to close the door on Parker so he stays outside. Just stand near the door and that will prevent Parker from getting inside.
Now, here's how the glitch works: Wait until you hear a Hunter doing it's pre-attack yell. When you hear that, it means that Parker is going to get his ass kicked behind that door. As soon as you hear that yell, quickly step back enough so that Parker gets inside with you. The door will close on the Hunter(s) and his claws/hands will get stuck on the door (the hands will start bobbing up and down really fast on the door). Take out your knife and get to work on that door. You'll kill a lot of Hunters that way.Stuff to remember: Avoid forums if you're having a bad day.

So Tricell has T-Abyss. Now it's kinda weird Wesker doesn't has it in RE5. That mean T-Abyss is in possession of a different division and not the African one. Tricell is probably still active after RE5 (they probably just cut off African division blaming Excella for everything around Uroboros), developing BOWs and selling it on the black market.
Nice set up for RE6.Last edited by Dark_Chris; 02-25-2012, 08:28 AM.Spoiler:

It just follows why they shouldn't have set it between RE4 and RE5. The plot itself was self contained so with some minor re-writes you could have made this fit after RE5 to avoid such glaring questions as why Wesker and Excella never took advantage of that virus or why the BSAA no longer make use of the genesis scanner.
