I dunno, there are a few things about the story that don't make a lot of sense right now. Lack of dates doesn't help either.

Well in the TGS trailer those who are shot and infected are in lab coats so they can be last members of the reaserch team.

That would cause a plothole, though. If he were sent to retrieve a sample of the t-Abyss virus, why would he waste perfectly good samples on infecting people? Why wouldn't he save at least one sample? That would make both his and Jessica's jobs a lot easier.

And if he and Jessica were on the same side, why did she try to shoot him twice? (Okay, first time has to do with him trying to reveal information. And the second time, Parker takes the bullet.) And why isn't that brought up in the final scene when they're in the cafe? Speaking of the end, why did Raymond save Parker? What reasons did he have? He just says that and walks away and now my curiosity is piqued because of it.

I'm sorry if there were some points I've mentioned that are in the game. I've not played the game yet and have just seen spoilers and small clips of some cutscenes so far.
Revelations has a plot with twists everywhere. Way to go, Capcom, you successfully pulled off a mind-screw plotline.

He could have saved a sample though. We never have any indication of where he got his sample from. Just that he ended up with one by the end. And Raymond saved Parker because he owed him one for saving Raymond himself in Terragrigia.

Even the first time doesn't really make sense, since revealing that information would have contributed to the downfall of the FBC, something which Jessica or the people she worked for seemed to want based on comments at end. If it is the GPC then getting the FBC out the way so could have the BSAA take over which they got control over would be a great benefit.

On a related note, anyone wonder if the GPC could be The Organisation? I know Umbrella was part of it at one time but there is surely secretive circles and parties within it.

I think there may be some kind of rivality between Vester and Jessica similar to Ada's and Krauser's one.

So can anyone confirm for me if the scene where Chris or a Chris lookalike is tied to a chair, is it actually in the game and who it is? Also is Hunk in the game because no one has mentioned him? I have no intentions of buying this any time soon. I'l wait for the price drop but only because I'm not paying full price for a game I wont be able to play much cause I'll have to play my g/fs daughter 3DS and I wont get much opportunity to play it cause she is ALWAYS on it.

No Hunk and no Chris lookalike. Almost everything in the teaser trailer was just concept.

Wow thats kinda lame. So false advertisement for the hardcores bascially. I dont wanna knock this game because its survival horror again and we have been begging for it but the story sounds kinda shite tbh. Nothing at all has got me like wow I have to play this now and I really thought it would.

There is Chris tied to a chair, a look alike yes. But not in anyway the same concept as in the trailer.

Exactly, there is no purpose except to fool us, the audience which was very clever. The crew of the Queen Zenobia were all long dead by this point. It was a ghost ship, drifting though the sea. Any surviving humans would have brought the attention of the ship to the rest of the world and that would surely have dealt a blow in both Morgan's plans and O'Brian's.

And in any case, even if there were a handful of survivors, why would Raymond waste the virus samples on them when the ship is already crawling with Ooze? He may as well have just shot them.
