Wow, just finished this game an hour or so ago and holy crap was it good. It was actually better than i expected was a surprise after i realised we wouldnt be getting the concept seen in the very first trailer. Theres many things I like about this game, the three top ones are:
1. The perfect blend of survival horror and action. This is the game RE4 almost was and the game RE5 should have been.
2. The bosses, with the exception of that huge parastie apendaged boss, were great in this game, even jessica (i realise she was more of a mini boss) was pretty damn creepy and i loved the final fight with Norman.
3. The story, the story is completely wrapped up in mystery from beginning to end, something that RE5 severely lacked. Also there was so many plot twists! some of them were predictable but some of them completely caught me off guard. I also like the very Alan Wake style Capcom used with this game with the "Previously on" video at the beginning of each chapter, gave the game a really epic feel.

Im definitely going to have to try this game on hell mode now, both for the challenge and because i need to re visit the story to try and piece some things together. Also like others I loved kirks cameo, definitely a great moment.

All in all id say this has restored some of my faith in capcoms ability to bring out great resident evil games and im hoping that this game gives us an indication on how RE6 will be laid out.

Fair enough, i never really played Alone in the dark. still, i wouldnt say stole, id say, liked the idea, saw its potential and decided to use the idea for another game. its basically the same thing lol

The black levels are atrocious, but otherwise good job. How did you capture direct feed?

It's perfectly plausible - but personally i would rather Capcom kept this arc confined to handheld devices like Vita and 3DS.

Would still bet on "that bitch" being Ada.
