I have a question regarding when Degeneration and Revelations take place in relation to one another. I always personally wondered why the BSAA wasn't sent in to handle the situation in Harvardville, especially since we know they were in existence at the time, unless the outbreak was simply considered too small to require the BSAA's attention, but I find that explanation hard to believe.

Was the Queen Zenobia incident occurring around the same time as Harvardville, and thus, the BSAA wouldn't have had enough manpower to deal with both? Or, on the other hand, if Degeneration occurs after Revelations, then are we to assume that the BSAA simply wasn't viable, because it was in the middle of being restructured?

Revelations most likely takes place before Degeneration though we have no direct proof of this. The incident at Harvardville was pretty much contained very quickly and locked down in the airport so there really was no need for the BSAA.

Even so, you'd think they'd send in the BSAA instead of generic Marines. I mean, that's kind of what the BSAA is there for.

True, but it may have had something to do with the Wilpharma vaccine recently being completed. The US Government marines were all inoculated with it before being sent in.

I actually hope Biohazard 6 explains this plot point as with the t-vaccine being mass produced after Leon recovered the manufacturing data it pretty much neutralizes the threat of the t-Virus as a biological weapon.

I must admit that all this talk has me pretty excited, sounds like a great game. Suddenly I don't feel so bad about buying a 3DS just for Revelations (and Mercenaries unfortunately).

The BSAA is reformed after the events of Degeneration according to this timeline. They still only acted as support for military and police units at the time and would not have done much.

In the airport of the American Midwestern town of Harvardville, a large-scale bioterrorism event occurs. Leon S. Kennedy is dispatched to resolve the incident, where he has a reunion with NGO member Claire Redfield who is involved with the incident. [BHD]

The bioterrorism countermeasure unit "BSAA" organized by the Global Pharmaceutical Consortium becomes an organization under the direct control of the United Nations.

Then why not send in the FBC? Was it already dissolved by that point? I was under the impression part of the restructuring of the BSAA involved the transfer of the FBC's assets and personnel.

Though I suppose even if it was still around, the government wouldn't be too keen on sending the FBC in to handle the situation after the truth about Terragrigia and the Queen Zenobia came to light.

In the time of Degeneration was BSAA still a NGS group with it's HQ in Europe so deploy any BSAA members on the airport would take several hours. Marines were just fastest possibility. It is very likely BSAA were on their way there to secure and investigate remains of the airpost and Wilpharma reaserch center.

There are no dates in Revelations so we can only assume that the FBC was already dissolved by the time Degeneration takes place. While the FBC's assets and personnel were presumably transferred to the BSAA before Degeneration, the BSAA isn't reformed by the UN until after Degeneration.

The BSAA in Degeneration is still the same as it is in Revelations. They could only act as observers and had no authority, so they wouldn't be able to do anything about Harvardville except sit back and watch, assuming they were even allowed anywhere near it. The President already sent his own counter bioterror one man army there.

Second this, I'm also pretty curious about Jessica's Report.

Has it been said yet how TERRIBLE of a character Jessica is? Granted, I only just finished watching Chapter 8, but her character design and dialogue is absolutely putrid. I mean seriously, what's with the fucking one-legged wetsuit? And every single time she opens her mouth, I cringe. And months ago I thought Rachael was bad...
