It's funny that BH3 was originally a mission set on a ship with Hunk. That means the rumours of the time were correct and, also, that Mikami made a nice nod to Kamiya with Hunk's result screen for the BIO4 mercenaries mode.

^ Not exactly rumours though. Kamiya had already stated before "The Resident Evil series started in a mansion, then it moved into a small city. I thought it would be an interesting idea to make the next installment take place aboard a boat." The new part we didn't know was about HUNK retrieving the G-Virus, again. Pretty good interview, lots of little details. It's incredible the ammount of passion Kawamura puts on the answers as opposed to the other 90% of interviews out there.

Thanks News Bot; this was an excellent interview that revealed a lot of great details. The bits about Birkin were quite fascinating. You have no idea how much I wish Kawamura still worked for Capcom! Instead we have new scenario writers who could give a damn about the existing story and take it in ridiculous directions (e.g. RE5).
          Mass production? Ridiculous!

            Amazing interview!!! Thanks News Bot.

Det. Beauregard: There is nothing wrong with RE5 storywise.

Ohh I would have love to seen the threeway scrap between G, Nemesis and Mr X. Nemesis background was good to I know he says to believe what Capcom say if they re-write it but I'd prefer to believe the guy who created him. So cool that he had a hidden agenda in tracking down the creaters of Mr X maybe thats what he was off doing in parts of the game where he goes missing.

You know how us fans are always saying so many plot holes? I think alot of these questions are good leggit answers and it makes me give Capcom abit more credit now. (Such as the blockade question)......May have shoot myself in the foot there I think his answer about the Weskers Reports clash pretty much stinks. Not his fault but Capcoms they shouldnt be realeasing products the same time without checking inconsistencies.

Leon and some chick escorted by a B.O.W. dog?? Lol Wait...what!? Kinda glad it did get scrapped now.

'It is unknown whether Wesker possessed similar reproductive capabilities.' Sooo...Wesker shoots blanks??

Great interview thanks for posting :-)

This interview just shows you how detached staff members over at Capcom Japan have become. All the creativity and originality left that ship long ago.
