Was ok my favorite thing about this was Voths acting. I thought she was actually very good. I've seen some clips of that Bitch Slap movie and it looked a little stupid but she looks like a much better actress in this. Good for her hope she gets more roles seems like a nice girl.

She's actually extremely impressive and shows more range in that 10 minutes than Guillory did in the whole movie of Apocalypse.

And it's surreal seeing a real life Jill.

Really good short film to boot, well shot, edited and acted.

I liked Voth's performance as Jill (she is the true Jill), but I didn't really like anything else about it. It felt very un-Resident Evil to me.
                Mass production? Ridiculous!

I got the impression that she wasn't playing Jill Valentine, but rather the name Jill was a nod to Voth's connection to the Resident Evil series.

Granted, there was that "Master of Unlocking" moment, so I'm probably wrong.

Would've been nice if Capcom stuck with this chick as Jill's model, because it was kinda creepy watching her act because all I saw was Jill. She's gorgeous btw.

Probably because aside from the references and the zombie this is not supposed to be a related to Resident Evil and just a cool short film?

I agree, I dont think this is meant to be in the Resident evil Universe but the short was definitely heavily influenced by the series.

I thought the whole film was brilliant, the effects were great, awesome acting and it did actually keep me interested all the way through with a nice little twist at the end there.

On a side note, I never knew that Julia was in bitch slap! loved that film.

Watching this actually made me realise why so many are upset at Voth's likeness for Jill these days. The likeness was a large part of her personality, it was hard to shake at times watching this that I wasn't actually looking at Jill Valentine.

Has any reason been given why they not only changed her voice but her appearence too?

I'm thinking that when capcom used her likness the contract was for a set amout of games. After RE5 I guess they didn't want to pay for a new one as I cant think of any other reason to not keep using her face.
