I haven't seen any reference to 4chan. Can you provide a link?

I generally avoid 4chan as I usually end up hating myself for being dumb enough to see what they're up too.

But it would be nice to see them right on this info...well IF the game happens to have more survival horror than Revelations did, Revelations needed a bit more than they had. It was just lacking that one really creepy boss, the communications officer came close...but he missed the mark.

With 4 gig? Sure, I don't see why not. Two gig or so for the games, about 1.5 for both movies unless they're pointlessly high quality...

I don't think Capcom would make a home console RE game that was exclusive to one single system. Unless it's an eShop game that uses limited resources (Now that I remember, there was also a rumor about that one, a while back).

They can pretty much do anything on haldhelds and it will have little effect on their home console efforts. I mean, a lot of RE fans on consoles are barely aware that Revelations even exists. That's how different the two markets are.

So Capcom can simply continue using the same engine and assets that they used in Revelations and Mercenaries 3D and do another game on the cheap for 3DS and Vita.

Considering how Sony expects to sell 16 million portables this year alone (quite an insane goal considering the Vita and PSP are not exactly getting there at all), I think this game might be exclusive to Vita. Since only big exclusives like that would ever lift the Vita up from where it is at present. We'll find out at E3.

Hopefully not, I don't want a reason to have to buy a Vita as well as a 3DS lol. However, Capcom have been working very closely to bring exclusive content to Sony's platforms so for them to branch out and provide exclusive RE content on the Vita wouldn't be a surprise. I'm tempted to go and get a 3DS right now but I'm certain they'll update the system sooner or later so I'm reluctant to get one right now.

If you compress the hell out of them there's no point in even releasing the movies on the 3DS. It just seems weird that they'd be able to fit like 3+ hours of CG cutscenes in 4 gigs when other games on Xbox360 are forced to use multiple discs even if they do lower the quality.
Unless the game is incredibly short and pointless or it's not even a game.
It'd make a lot more sense on Vita but then you'd lose the 3D part (not only the movies being in 3D but also the Degeneration, Damnation, Downfall thing).
Either way if Sony is expecting to sell that many Vitas I'd guess they have some strong third party support coming. We already know there's a CoD for Vita and there's rumors of FF Type 0 being remastered for it. I guess an exclusive RE title is the obvious next step.
