Well he did stayed with her. Claire just ditch them (I know she had a reason but still).

Out of all the things left behind with the RE3 epilogues the reunion between Claire and Sherry is sorely missed.

        Maybe they'll reunite in RE6.

*Braces for 8-paragraph response on why this won't happen and even if it did, it would be TERRIBLE.*

You can rest easy. I wouldn't mind if Claire was in RE6. Actually given that Sherry, Leon and Chris are all in it then it would make the most sense to include her in some fashion. But Alyson Court said she's not in RE6 and that ORC has been the last RE game she worked on so far. She's one of the few actresses that hasn't been recast from her role so I have no reason to suspect Capcom is hiding Claire from this game.

            She could've lied.

Sherry's probably been an agent for a few years now I rekkon, she's 27 now. I'm sure Sherry and Claire have had their reunion by now. I can forsee a prequel side game featuring Sherry and Claire "This time, I'll protect you!"

D.C. Douglas has said the same thing but I'll be very surprised if we don't see Wesker in flashbacks.

I won't. He's made it very clear he'd love to be back, but said repeatedly he's not in RE6. The thing with NDA's is he cannot confirm nor deny any involvement with RE6 if he was signed on.

As I said, if you wish to continue then by all means make a separate topic for it. There's no need for further drivel here. Your last post was bigger than the previous now, and now you're bringing in the clones, comics, novels, etc. So if you're really not finished then take the 'Capcom rips from the movies' discussion elsewhere.
You are the one who brought it up and insisted your nonsense was correct. Don't spout bullshit if you're not willing to see it through.

We don't know whether or not Claire actually did reunite with Sherry. There is a big gap between her appearance in the BH3 epilogue and BH6. It could have happened off-screen. Also, in regards to her "superhuman" abilities as a result of her infection with G, this makes the most sense for her character. The purpose of the G-Virus was to create "G-Humans". Superhumans. It's a nice tie-in to BH2. That's assuming it's even true because we haven't seen anything to indicate it yet.

So far we haven't seen what she's capable of. If she just has enhanced regeneration powers (also not new to the series), that's hardly a big deal.

Because it is correct. I'm more than happy to 'see it through' if you'd like to make a topic about it. By all means, be my guest. Just don't go off the rails any more than you have, and stay on topic if you'd be so kind.

Now in regards to Claire and Sherry the point of course is we don't know when or if they ever had a reunion. The epilogue makes it sound pivotal, and given the nature of RE2 I'd say most fans were looking forward to another Sherry/Claire outing. Just because we could factor in a gap that they "could have met" doesn't say much of anything story or character wise. No more than writing off the fall of Umbrella in RE4 from the stock market. We were given some glimmer of hope for these characters only for it to be glossed over. Thankfully this wasn't the case for some of the other characters. Sure Barry and HUNK aren't getting much attention outside mercenaries and non-canon games, but at least the main cast were paved with enough to make future games over. Leon working with the U.S. Chris saving Claire from her capture. Jill finding Chris and working together to stop the bad guys. Nothing about Sherry's future in the epilogue gave off that she would be a super soldier servant.

What we do see as a result of G has never been pretty. So making Sherry a super soldier even though no signs had ever been shown prior feels like a cop out just to pair her with Wesker 2.0 for the new game play.

The only person who seems to think it's correct is you, and no evidence lines up with your view. Therefore, you are wrong. No amount of twisted logic will change that. I've already exposed your supposition for the bullshit it is. I think that's sufficient.

All the epilogue did was point out how important Claire is to Sherry. Even Yasuhisa Kawamura, who wrote it, says that it was not a foreshadowing and no follow-up was planned. It's not the same situation as the BH4 opening. Unlike the Sherry/Claire "reunion" that never existed, the fall of Umbrella was planned and actually developed until Mikami interjected. Not a fit comparison.

Birkin and Miller mutate because the virus couldn't adapt to their bodies. We don't even know if Sherry is a "super soldier" yet, all we know is that she probably has enhanced regeneration abilities. Even if she was superhuman, as I pointed out, the virus she was infected with was created in order to produce superhumans, and we already know that the vaccine did not completely destroy the virus in her body and it may have adapted to her body over time (which is the exact same situation as Jill in BH5).

It is sounding increasingly more like you are just looking for things to bitch about. All of the things you bring up were planned or considered for years, or are simply your personal desires and speculation.

Not just me as I've seen you go against other users on the forum for bringing up the movies again in regards to their inspiration on the games. Not that it matters though because even if it was just I; you're still insisting to go off topic when I've asked that you remain on topic, and use your efforts to make a separate one if you wish to continue this repetitive argument. For saying I'm looking for things to "bitch" about you spend an awful lot of time trying to derail. My evidence is the products themselves and it always will be. Save it for a rainy day and take it elsewhere.

The epilogues also bring forth a cliffhanger to have them reunite. Both on Claire and Sherry's end. In terms of story telling it's left open until noted otherwise. But other aspects have been handled from the characters bringing down Umbrella to Chris and Claire's reunion to Leon's current role in the Government. RE6 will likely not delve into this open plot point. But I doubt they had in mind for Sherry to become an agent like Leon with the exception that she's the next Alice as they were writing this.

Jill adapted to her infection and showed no signs of super powered mutation over time. Only time she became super powered was as an antagonist and using a different means from a chemical made out of research on Progenitor.

Why should I make a topic about something that isn't true and you would simply use as a soapbox for your misinformed conjecture? You use the "my evidence is the products themselves" cop-out quite liberally in a lot of discussions, even though it's simply you refusing to acknowledge the fact that there is more to it than the finished product, ignoring the fact that human beings actually work on them and sheer history crumbles your argument. I have yet to receive a rebuttal from you that wasn't simply "NUH UH!" with a paraphrasing of the same tried, tested and failed reasoning. I seem to be the only one who even bothers looking deeper into things.

The point of the epilogues was mainly to either 1) Leave character plot-lines open and 2) Refer to then-finished stories (Claire's epilogue was intended as a direct reference to CODE:Veronica). Likewise, certain characters (Rebecca, Carlos and Nicholai) did not get epilogues for very specific reasons. In Sherry's case, the only point was to confirm her situation and show that she still has a bond with Claire. I also doubt they had Sherry being superhuman in mind at the time, even though it makes complete sense. Doesn't mean that it's suddenly a no-go area just because unrelated media happens to use a similar and significantly more retarded idea because the director was inspired by the games. It's a convenient order of events, but one that doesn't exist in reality.

They had never intended to bring any of these characters back? Why do HUNK and Barry have epilogues, then? Just curious.
                              Mass production? Ridiculous!

Jill wasn't infected with a virus designed to create superhumans.

BH3 was written as a side-story initially. Carlos and Nicholai were from that time. So from the start, it was stipulated that they would never appear in a main game again. Rebecca wasn't included because, while CODE:Veronica's scenario was finished at the time, the scenario for BH0 was not. There's a little more to it but I have to keep that quiet for a while.
