Also known as "HNNNNNGGGG" to Ada fanboys, has been a mysterious figure ever since she was to appear in the cancelled Resident Evil title under development by Burger King in 1973. There has been some debate as to moral standing of our favorite bi-err.. "Lady" in red, so here is your opportunity to put your squeeeing fanboy/girl opinion out there for all to see...

IS ADA WONG EVIL OR NOT?

She's neutral. She's good, but she does evil things for money.

Nothing she ever does in the series is for money.

She's a formerly "evil" (in that she was more like a machine) character who had a change of heart and became good, but her motives and behavior are secretive.

evil things for good money? Ironic? Maybe, but she is a spy...so what are her motives and you would think, wow we all know she is a spy so her cover is blown?? So why is she still a spy? But I feel she is good in a way. So Neutral is my vote.

You all just pick neutral because you think she's hot. xD Don't deny it.

In a perfect world she's a morally ambiguous femme fatale. In Capcom's mind she's so "good" that we may need a clone to write off any potential conflicts of interest in the narrative.

Meh, don't bash it until we know the whole plot. XD

When was she ever morally ambiguous, though? This is never stated or hinted at anywhere in the series. In the actual script for BH4, she reveals to Leon at the very end that "she has done everything for the best", and he happens to drive off into the sunset with a giant shit-eating grin on his face thinking about her.

IDK, the fact that she's a spy and she's disobeying "evil orders" all the time makes me think she's doing all the shit for money.

She was a spy in Umbrella's rival company for a while. That's about it. After BH2, she is more "human" and becomes "good".

It's disappointing to realize that no one else thinks that it would be SO EPIC if Ada Wong came out as a totally evil bitch in RE6. Imagine how that would affect Leon and his strong moral fiber and infatuation with her. It would be an excellent plot device.

Oh C'mon, I'm pretty sure he will get over it and be happy with that other girl, what's her name again? Angie?

How can he let go of "the part of him he can't let go"? Obviously, he's taken with her to the point that he let her get away in RE4 when we know damn well he could have shot her before she got on the chopper. I highly doubt that Angela worked out in the scheme of things, and I think we'll find that out in RE6. He's been set on missions back to back since the Javier deal. Not much time for a steady gal-friend who's an SRT member in a hokey Police Department.

                            Well said; I agree.

Yes, but the "best" is entirely subjective; if Ada happened to be a psychotic "the world is mine" kind of villain, the "best" would be furthering her own world-dominating goals. If this is the case, she told Leon what she did so he wouldn't worry about what she was going to do with the sample. Remember that this is a woman who makes her living by lying and being manipulative. Leon just feels lust; there's no way two people fall in love in just a few hours, even under the extreme circumstances of RE2. If I had to look at Ashley's face, I'd be thinking of Ada, too...

I truly hope she is evil in RE6, solely because I can't take the ridiculous stupidity of a clone plot of the magnitude that has been suggested. It would be a new kind of retarded for this series, and we all know it's had its fair share of "WTF?!" moments.

This would be awesome, and a way to make the series a bit darker. I've always wanted to see Leon kill Ada in a situation where he has no other choice.

                            Mass production? Ridiculous!

I don't think it's lust as much as it is a dream. He sees a lot of himself in her and wants to, in a sense, rescue her from her problems much the same way Leon wishes to be rescued from his. What with all the happenings in his life with his family and the biohazard incidents, he's probably one messed up hombre on the inside.
