Judging by the posters, the idea of an Space Opera which has nazi zombies equipped with lightsabers doesn't seem so far away now. And if they would resurrect the clone plotline, then we would have some real Clone Wars right here.
Oh, and course it would have Resident Evil name slapped on it because of lulz.

God, what an asshat. None of the characters in the original game (barring Wesker) knew what they were getting themselves into; they'd all be "newcomers" to the story.

I must say, however, that Anderson has done one thing better than the game series - he didn't kill off Umbrella in an opening scene.

Still, all of these movies are absolute garbage. I shudder in disgust when anyone I know mentions them.

What I like about Anderson's recent work is that he's pretty much making parodies of his own material. Hard to argue when he pokes fun at Milla going through, not one, but TWO booby-trapped hallways in his version of 'The Three Musketeers'.

And fans wanted his movies to be more like the games so he beats around the bush and writes Afterlife to involve his take on 'majini' as well as having the 'axe man' show up out of the blue in Los Angeles.

Milla is a good actress, and one of the few who also makes a professional living modelling. I think I can give her that much.

It's easy to bring up fun roles like Fifth Element or Zoolander, but if you really want to see some form of range on her then you need to look to films like 'Chaplin', 'Dummy' and 'Stone'.

Paul Anderson on the other hand doesn't have nearly the same measurement of work. He may be a poor man's James Cameron/Ridley Scott, but he's OUR poor man's James Cameron/Ridley Scott in the Resident Evil community. And that's something to be proud of..... maybe.
