Who do you think Carla is? (RE6)

The leaked name from a while ago was originally thought to be the new lady in red by many. However if you watch the new e3 trailer and pause at the part where Ada looks through some files, you see Carla's picture, her name, and another photo of her and that new doctor antagonist, Dr. Simmons. I believe she is the original test subject of the J'aivo (sp) since you see her name in the video tape from the last trailer which shows a Jaivo emerging from its cocoon. I'm guessing she won't actually play a big role but is probably back story to how the new virus was developed. She looks to be the wife of Dr. Simmons.

Also, the trailer has a snippet of a conversation between Simmons and Ada where he says he is going to frame her for all the bio-terrorist outbreaks. I guess she WON'T be the villian mastermind in this game but instead works under Simmons & Neo-Umbrella only to be framed. Chris wants vengeance against her later on since she kills his BSAA men but Leon wants to keep her alive because she'll be a key witness against Simmons.

The real Carla is probably something as unoriginal as Simmons' wife or daughter that died in a terrorist attack.

I'm more interested in why he would frame Ada as being responsible for all this? What would he have to gain from that?

Framing Ada probably has to do with Neo-Umbrella. I wonder if Simmons is trying to destroy it by framing Ada, doing his job in his own twisted way (i.e. attacking the U.S., China, and other locales)

I think neo-Umbrella could be just a red herring. Simmons is clearly behind these terrorist attacks and he works for the US Government. Neo-Umbrella could just be something he fabricated to take the blame for the attacks, and he has made it look as though Ada is running the group.

The main villains of Bio6 will be the government, make no mistake about it. Simmons is a ruthless bastard. I'm guessing he attacked Tall Oaks in order to stop President Bedford from revealing the whole truth about Raccoon City. Then he frames Leon and Helena for his murder.

Neo-Umbrella will be a fake organization just like Veltro's revival in Revelations.

Seems, to me, the line in the trailer--

"...Neo-Umbrella's very own Ada Wong..."

--could be taken in several regards. Carla is/was clearly a separate person from Ada, but I think someone else on THIA mentioned here that the whole "clone" thing could have something to do with the original Carla dying, then using her DNA, along with Ada's, to manufacture a clone to pass as Ada. But, it could also just be referring to Ada being framed. Or, really, that line in the trailer could be nothing more than what it is, but it it's definitely curious.
