Remote probably was used to turn on the TV advertising the password for the computer in the retail game.

I've got another mysterious thing I've wondered about. Where did Ramone Salazar's butler go? Obviously he was Ramone's butler well into his involvement with Saddler, where did he go? Was he the corpse in the underground dungeon filled with the novistadores?

Which leads to another mystery; If that dead body WASN'T the butler, who was it? (Note, I've never played Separate Ways, so this may be explained and I don't know it)

A bedside commode, since there's only one bathroom in the mansion and it's so far away.

It was, and you had to find batteries for it also.

it's not really a mystery, its just something YOU can't explain. you try to sound way more logical than you are.

Why did you just paraphrase me? There is no "explanation" for it because one wasn't intended. It is trivial dialogue.

For the record, here's what the file actually says. http://projectumbrella.net/articles/Discarded-Memo

The thing you wanted before seems to have been obtained by my connection.
The dog is actually Spencer's pet dog, as opposed to a guard dog or Cerberus specimen.

There you go again, trying to start shit. XD We get that you're all knowing, we really do. You don't have to show your knowledge dominance over the newbie that's challenging you HERE in this thread, I'm sure he'll learn it elsewhere fairly soon as we all did. So I'll ask you kindly, as the original poster, to please refrain from derailing this thread by bickering with those who are misinformed about RE. I'll give you a cookie if you do.

He addressed me, there is no reason I cannot reply. I am clearly not trying to "start shit" and your constant remarks about "knowledge dominance" are beginning to get a little irritating when you attempt to use it as an excuse to say I should not be allowed to post, or claim that I somehow ruin things by proxy simply for knowing shit. I don't see you chastising Dracarys or the newbie himself for also happening to take this topic seriously, rather than as a joke, which is due to you not actually labeling as such.

*le sigh* You just don't get it. Let me explain it in grandiose sentences that will grab your attention.

This thread was born from the idea that an individual can enter and present mysteries within the Biohazard series; whether they be "Trivial Dialogue" or not. Whether or not people wish to be serious or jocular in their speculation is solely the choice of the individual taking part in this thread. All of this is in an attempt to have something called fun, whether the theories put forth are strictly logical and based on canon fact or the wild imaginations of those taking part. Id est, when one enters the topic with the sole intention to strike down mysteries and theories regarding said mysteries and downplay them as paltry nonsense, it ruins the overall enjoyment level of those involved. As the author of this thread, I kindly requested that you acquiesce to my desire that this thread be left to it's own devices without you lashing out at everyone who does not A)Want you to start arguments about the canon of Resident Evil, B)Start attacking others with the accusation that they're saying you're 'not allowed to post here' and accusing people of improperly labeling a thread, and C)Ultimately pissing everyone off with the 'holier than thou' nature you adopt when you feel that you are being challenged. This in no way infringes on your Admin given ability to post where you want, when you want. It was merely a request, nothing more.

Now I would like to get back on topic. If you feel the need to carry this on further, for the sake of the thread, please private message any rebuttals you might have.

Still singling me out for your own failing. Nothing I said was related to canon, so why you insist on bringing it up is unknown. I said it wasn't really a mystery (as in there is no explanation, after all, your OP does mention solving things too). Like I said earlier, my mistake for taking it seriously. I would appreciate if you kept the snide bullshit to yourself.

Is Jack's Bar from RE3 the Same Jack's Bar from Outbreak?

                        EDIT

Why did Claire invaded Umbrella's Base if she had contact with Leon, that had contact with Chris?

                          1) Nope. It's not actually called Jack's Bar in BH3, it's "Black Jack Bar".
                          2) Leon was searching for Chris, he didn't have contact with him until Claire got captured. She happened to contact Leon when he found Chris.

Remember, folks, try and be nice. I'm getting quickly tired of dickish behavior on here today, and I've just gotten on.

It's not my role to speak on News Bot's behalf, but... He was being serious.
It was never outlined in the inital topic that it was not meant to be taken seriously; as such you can't reasonably expect him to do that.

                              A) He never mentioned canon
                              B) He never attacked others saying that they're not allowed to post here. He's right in that the thread wasn't clear with your intentions (ie. improperly labelled)
                              C) You're the only one who seens to have taken chagrin to his post in this thread.

I won't go into it in any more depth; but thank you for requesting that anything further be taken to private correspondance.
I will be keeping an eye on this thread for any more transgressions
