Nothing, it simply leads to the janitor's area in the corridor outside of the library round the back of the S.T.A.R.S. office. It is nailed shut and you cannot open it, but Sherry can crawl through the hole in the bottom.

Leon kicks it down while running after Sherry in Darkside Chronicles. I never knew that that was a connecting door until then. Hell, I even went back to RE2 to double-check it.

Did you ever opened the map? That was the biggest hint the game could ever give you.

Sure I looked at the map. I just never really put that much thought into it. It wasn't until DSC that I was like, "oh, lulz, that's where that door goes."

I have a question relating to George Trevor.

In the files that you discover it says that George stumbled across his tombstone and realized that his fate had already been sealed. I am assuming he found his tombstone underneath the floor, in between the walls, in the wall pressure rooms. Why would his tombstone be hidden? Was it intentional for him to find the headstone as he attempted to escape?

                Another question regarding Lisa Trevor.

According to Wesker Report 2 it suggests that at the end of the fifth part that there was no more need for the female test subject and that they began to dispose of her which took three days to do. After confirming that she was dead they went to get rid of the body. So did they, the scientists, goof up or what? Where the hell was Lisa during after her supposed "Death" in 95' but before the incident in 98'? She just hanging around the shack or something? By the time you see her in 98' she's roaming around in the shack outside the mansion.

Yes, the whole thing was a trap set out by Spencer to test the security of the mansion. George was originally going to be a Progenitor test subject but as Lisa successfully adapted to the Type B variant, there was no need. He was captured then he was purposefully let out under the guise of an escape. He then roamed the estate and because of all the traps and clues laid out before him Spencer knew he would end up at his own tombstone.

The scientists did goof up yes. By this point Lisa was immune to death it's just her fucked up physiology probably fooled the researchers. Once it was discovered she was still alive, they bound her in shackles and sealed her away in the mining tunnels beneath the mansion where she set up her home. She probably somehow got back into the mansion following the accident.

Did Lisa ever survive the mansion incident? I know Wesker dropped her, but isn't there a file in Outbreak that suggests that she made it out?

No, there isn't. Clearly the researchers didn't test exploding Lisa as a mean to kill her. Or dropping her in acid, or chopping her in little bits and pieces. I always thought this unkillable thing sounded bullshit to me.

I don't even know in which ways they TRIED to kill her.

EDIT: The file I'm talking about from Outbreak is the Raccoon Today. Credit to Project Umbrella.

                        AN EERIE VOICE FROM UNDERGROUND
Recently there is spooky talk around South Campbell street. It is said that groans can be heard from the drainage system at night.

It is easy to dismiss it as a ghost story that middle school students love to talk about on camping nights.
But the amount of missing people has increased rapidly at this locale for the past month.

8 people have gone missing. Strangely, the missing people have a lot in common: They are all single white females aged 18 to 23 with beautiful blonde hair.

The street was wrapped in a dense fog the day after they went missing. From the sewer drain, which runs north-south along the street, a woman's constrained voice could be heard for several hours.

Of course, the drainage sewers have been thoroughly investigated. But neither the missing person nor any traces have been found..

The Police Department has so far denied the relationship with the bizarre incidents that have rapidly increased after the mansion incident. However, the events must be related.

Wow, I never made the connections between that file and Lisa somehow. But it sounds like it could have been her.
                          Mass production? Ridiculous!

The whole missing females between a certain age range seemed to be up Lisa's alley. The mention of the mansion incident too seemed like too big a coincidence.

i always associated that report with Irons.. he was obviously something of a sadist, & the ages & attributes of the missing girls fit that of the Mayor's daughter, of whom the chief expressed admiration in terms of her physical beauty.. it was implied that he intended on stuffing her, when Claire first encounters him.. i also remember something about a rape allegation against Irons..

in addition, Irons' secret chamber was one of the hidden routes to the sewer.. so it's likely that the "constrained cries" were that of his victims.. of course investigation would've been fruitless, because for one thing, the entrance to his chamber was hidden, & for another, Irons himself would've been in charge..

on another note, regarding the "how did Leon find Chris" (CV) question:

when Claire enters the office, it was Steve who had already pulled Chris up on the terminal.. Umbrella already had him under surveillance, so from there, Claire discovered his location.. however, still unable to contact Chris directly, she notified Leon of his whereabouts.. Leon was then able to reach him, & pass the message on..

Same here. A BOW or monster would not target young girls of a specific age range and look.
