    AN EERIE VOICE FROM UNDERGROUND
Recently there is spooky talk around South Campbell street. It is said that groans can be heard from the drainage system at night.

It is easy to dismiss it as a ghost story that middle school students love to talk about on camping nights.
But the amount of missing people has increased rapidly at this locale for the past month.

8 people have gone missing. Strangely, the missing people have a lot in common: They are all single white females aged 18 to 23 with beautiful blonde hair.

The street was wrapped in a dense fog the day after they went missing. From the sewer drain, which runs north-south along the street, a woman's constrained voice could be heard for several hours.

Of course, the drainage sewers have been thoroughly investigated. But neither the missing person nor any traces have been found..

The Police Department has so far denied the relationship with the bizarre incidents that have rapidly increased after the mansion incident. However, the events must be related.
I take it as two things in one file. The "groans" from the drainage system I took as just Birkin (or any other B.O.W. running around down there) and is just unrelated from the girls. As for the disappearances though, that's strange. Never quite realized that myself either but yeah, it could probably be Irons.

I don't understand how Irons would be associated with an EERIE VOICE FROM UNDERGROUND. It reminds me of the growl/groan that Lisa would do. Plus, I believe the age range is the same as the researchers that Lisa mistook for her mother.

There is no age range for the researchers Lisa mistook for her mother. And Jessica would be a hell of a lot older than 18-23 years old.

It's a reference to Irons. The girls' description matches that of the Mayor's daughter. Obviously that is Irons' taste.

I have another Mysterious Mystery to share with you.

The Mysterious Message Wesker Received on Rockfort Island...

As Albert was about to harm Claire in a very painful way, laughing at the thought of seeing Chris weep over her dead body, some mysterious guy called him on his radio. What he told him made Wesker stop his beatdown, then he left, saying that Claire might still be useful alive. Who called him, and what did he tell him ? Discuss.

Here are some quirks I've been wondering for the past few years...
            • Annette can shoot a weapon out of your hand if you're holding one in the sequence when you encounter her in the flashback, but if you are not equipped with one, she'll just miss... Where did she learn to shoot like that? Unless it was just a fluke...
            • Did Birkin inject the G-Virus in his heart to help it spread faster (he was shot up pretty bad) or because that's where you normally inject the virus in experiments?
            • Why do the bones on the hand of Tyrants fuse and hypertrophy to form claws? Are tyrants genetically engineered to only have one claw? Does the arm the Tyrant's claw is on mean that is where the T-Virus was initially injected?

I think it was pure luck. She's miserable with a gun. She had Ada right in front of her and missed several times, shooting Leon instead. She tried again to kill Ada, but surprisingly she disarmed her, so she used that opportunity to talk a little with Ada before killing her at point blank. Wrong choice.

I always assumed that it was just one of the HCF guys that Wesker attacked the island with. I don't think there was any connection to Claire in what he said to Wesker. It looked as if he called Wesker away to some important matter elsewhere, and thus he decided to deal with Claire later.
                Mass production? Ridiculous!

it's possible that they too were either monitoring the island's outgoing transmissions, or perhaps even Chris himself.. maybe they were informing him that Chris was on his way, thus Wesker decides not to finish Claire just yet..

however, the dialogue seems to indicate a more immediate problem..

'what? what is it? stay there.. i'm coming..'

'it appears you may be of some further use to me.. i'm going to let you live, a little longer..'

i'm betting that the call was more than likely in regards to Alfred.. remember, he thought Claire was working with them.. in any case, he would've been attempting to fend them off, releasing BOW's & such..

he was probably giving the team a hard time, & they called Wesker to report the situation, & request assistance.. becoming apparent to Wesker that Alfred could be a problem, he decides to let Claire live, in hopes that she may take him out herself.. just as he would leave Chris, to take care of Alexia..

That's close to what I personnally think about it. Here's my theory : HCF received word about Hunk's transportation mission and mistook the T-078 for Alexia. So when they entered the storage room and discovered that Alexia was not there, they immediately called Wesker. I think he let Claire live to distract Alfred while he and his team looked for Alexia.
