RE4 had moments of horror - it just didn't have enough of them. Also, the mechanics of the game were geared more toward action, so the feel of horror was automatically toned down. But yes, those sewers were one of the freakier parts of the game, as well as one of my favorite.
    Mass production? Ridiculous!

Agree about Regenerador. Would be nice if they make some kind of comeback with explanation for those monsters. It was basically the only creepy moment in Resident Evil 4. That and the invisible fly-things when they first appear in the sewers.

And a personal pick would be Tyrant 092 1st Form. Yeah I know it's not a regular enemy, it's a boss which makes him unique and we shouldn't expect to see a reuse of the same boss several times. But I always thought that the 1st form of Tyrant 092 needed more screen time. And it's a pretty cool design in my opinion. The whole transformation from a dude to a chick was like WTF, so that's interesting, and I think it was the first time that a Tyrant class monster was actually intelligent.

Made with experimental t+G-virus, so what I'm saying is it would be neat to see a similar - not exactly the same character (Morpheus), but a similar transformation.
          Spoiler:

Not part of the main series.

Please specify something like that in the original post so there's no confusion in the future about such criteria.

As for the main series, I would stick with Regeneradors from RE4. Always though that the way they move, irregular breathing and their very presence in a room created an interesting tension.

Thought I said that in the initial topic, my mistake.

Yep and Lions as others mentioned. I also thought it was a shame that Hunters were not included in RE5. That would have been great, hunters stalking Chris and Sheva through the tall grass like some Ghost and the Darkness shit.

Anyways, I loved Chimeras. Not only were they disgusting, but they were B.O.W.failures and you had a pretty good idea that you'd probably never see them again. That's probably the reason why I liked the Proto-Tyrant so much. Aside from that, my favorite B.O.W of all time is NEPTUNE. Combining my love for sharks with the T-virus,they couldn't go wrong. I couldn't help but think about Neptune during the last stage in Revelations, when you can look out and see the sharks swimming around. RE1 is my favorite game, so I suppose I love all the creatures from that game.

Hell I'd love to see the T-002 again(in my dreams).

I'm probably the only person who loves Bandersnatches. I thought they were one of the cooler creatures, as mini-tyrants. The fact they could quickly move between upper and lower areas to stop the fleeing also appealed.

I also like the various variations on the Hunter, and wouldn't mind seeing the return of Sweepers and Gammas.

I liked Gammas, cute froggies that swallow you whole lol. My B.O.W return wishes are pretty much in the toilet, seeing that they're all derived from the T-virus, which is so outdated and basically as harmful as a glass of milk these days with all the immunity shots, etc.

Actually, it makes unleashing some of them, such as Hunters, far more viable. Fit a pack of Hunters with explosive and sunning implants, unleash them in an enemy controlled area for a day or so (or when they start approaching civilian areas) and then stun (or if despeate detonate) them. Lots of dead enemy troops, no zombies and infection to worry about. If you can stun them you can even go pick up your expensive B.O.W for reuse.

Before, using anything would likely result in an outbreak.

Yea I don't think Hunters will ever become extinct, they're too good at what they do, killing the shit out of everyone. I was happy to see them in Revelations as well.

I read every post on the forums. I forget most of them within seconds. So...I read your post, then completely failed to remember that you like Bandersnatches. If that makes you feel any better?
