I wanted to play Cube World but couldn't get it due the the (online) shop being shut, so I went to check on The Dead Linger hoping build 10 had come out.
Still no build 10, dahm, now I want to play build 10, I guess I could play Team Fortress 2 to take my mind of it.
Oh, I forgot, I hit the weekly item limit, no point in doing that, I could go check for a RE 1.5 update on THIA.
DAHM IT!
I guess I could go outside...
NAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

(yawn)
Well ... I have just finished re-reading Aleff's thread from start to here. All 13676 posts. Took me the better part of a week, when I wasn't working, eating, or sleeping, or chores, yadda-yadda-yadda.
"What a long, strange trip it's been ...."
If it's any consolation, there are threads on some of the anime boards that are several thousand pages of posts long.
(big yawn)
Sleepy time for me again. 'Later.Last edited by RMandel; 07-10-2013, 09:08 AM.Do you know where I can find the final build of Resident Evil 1.5?

Got offered a March 1997 issue of Hyper PlayStation. It has BIO2 (or 1.5) coverage. It's quite a neat point in the development timeline. Either right after or right before the scrapping of 1.5.PROJECT Umbrella - The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

More roman numerals on that cover than in Japanese history.
By the way the blurb about BIO2 says:

Well, Capcom held a press conference on 18 February 1997 saying that the game was on hold. Not being cancelled - just being put on hold for review or something like that. That magazine may be from where that data is sourced. I never could trace down where it's from exactly - but it shows up on Bioflames, in imacwesker's stuff, and so on. That's when they brought in Sugimura (and a good thing, too). The data I have so far points to RE15 being cancelled sometime during the last two weeks of March. There's supposed to be an official press release during that time. It's in April 1997 when work begins on RE2 and all of the reboot/redevelopment notices appear in most of the trade mags. That also jives with the file stamp dates on the oldest background sets (BSS files) in the BH2 Trial. They go back to the first week of April 1997.
For what it's worth, that's also about the time they announced the Saturn port. Ghad ... they only had two months (actually 1 1/2 months) to work on that! Odds of THAT existing in any form other than code snippets are ... well ... practically zero.Do you know where I can find the final build of Resident Evil 1.5?

I've been thinking of possible mini games for 1.5. So perhaps, Team, you might get some inspiration from this ;)
BATTLE MODE:
In this mode, you battle through waves of enemies while trying to take the least amount of damage as possible. Each wave gets progressively harder and more enemies spawn. You must use your supplies wisely as there might be randomly inserted boss enemies in a given wave. You can choose from a variety of characters, costumes, weapons, and items. After selecting a character, you can choose your entire loadout and select a stage. There will be traditional "RE" type stages where you go from room to room killing enemies. There would also be a coliseum stage similar to Dino Crisis 2 where in which the camera is pulled back (in either 3rd person, or at a distance like DC2's Coliseum) and the camera is free flowing. Survive enough waves and unlock something for the main game or unlock more characters in BATTLE MODE.
MERCENARIES:
This will be very similar to how the mini game is played in RE3. You are given a time limit as to how long until the extraction helicopter will take to arrive. Killing enemies will give you a time bonus, and this varies for every weapon type. Multi kills warrant more points and an increased time bonus. You start in the labs and work your way back to the RPD heliport for extraction. Supplies are limited and each character has a preset loadout of weapons. You can either go straight to the RPD, or take side routes to rescue survivors. Survivors will yield a time and point bonus as well as either giving you an item, ammo, or a weapon. If you die or the timer runs out, you will still be awarded points, but they will be greatly reduced. Get to the heliport and you'll get a bigger score. Save all the survivors and your score will be bigger. Use the points acquired to unlock content for the main game.
I also think this mode could have enemy variants such as a super powerful William Birkin, or super zombies, maybe even other enemies from other RE games. There might be two paths to take A) Train to RPD, or B) RPD to train. A will be the harder option while B would be easier. The B route would have you turn on the power for the train before leaving.
4TH SURVIVOR (similar to it):
Get from the RPD basement to the roof in order to evacuate. The enemies in each room are randomized and there are no health/item/weapon pick ups. You must manage all your supplies and use the right weapons for each enemy. The are ranked based on your total time.

You are asking for too much. Things such as enemy waves with progressive difficulty increase, survivors to rescue or point systems wouldn´t be an easy task, it might be even impossible.
Probably something like 4th Survivor is more doable, simply go from point A to point B and survive with a set loadout and nothing more supplies to pick up.
