As for t-Veronica and t-Abyss, they are isolated viruses that never actually affected a wide population. Manuela was taken in by the U.S. Government to see if they could form countermeasures, while t-Abyss is completely unknown right now.
So have there been any foreshadowing in the files regarding an event where all the viruses get mixed in a soup pot somewhere in rural Canada to form a new virus called the Z-Virus (Or zombie flu)?

It seems to me Capcom needs to stop introducing new viruses until they fully utilize, and possibly neutralize, some of the current viruses still out there. Don't get me wrong, the C-virus is sick, and I love it. Just chill a bit after this one, please.

At the time of BH2, the G-Virus was incomplete, which is why Birkin transforms into a monster. He didn't INTEND to become a monster. He would have simply regenerated had the virus been complete. It's stated that Sherry received the vaccine (which merely prevents the virus from going out of control, which is a side-effect of it being incomplete) and the virus did not go out of control, but it did not disappear.

Having already spoken to a series writer on the issue, they were intending to go with it adapting to her pretty early. It is why they insisted she was an important character despite the fact that she never showed up for so many years. They've only now just followed up on it, partially because all of the games which focused on the G-Virus and its superhuman abilities never came to light, which is also why Wesker's infection was changed to Progenitor. On the other hand, they couldn't change Sherry, and had already stated outright that she still had G in her body. What you propose is that they simply "forget" that to satisfy you over a non-issue.
I didn't said it wasn't destroying the virus, if you read my posts, it says clearly that adaptating into her or not would be left to the plot-writers. I did read the files in RE2 and I know that the virus wasn't gonna be destroyed.

And sorry if I don't read previous interviews with the writers.
But next time, just say that the writers wanted her to be like that ever since the beginning, don't make us to start an endless discussion.

However, the bacteria in Sherry's body was not killed, and she was placed under observation by the United States Government as an important carrier of G.

There is no plot hole with Rebecca not being infected with the t-Virus. Diseases transmitted via bites (such as Rabies) do not have a 100% infection rate.
No, it didn't said it weakened the virus, it said it stopped the virus.
"In the early stages of cellular invasion, it is possible to hart progression of the metamorphosis through the administration of the G-vaccine antigen."

If the G-Virus would or not adaptate into Sherry's body, that would be CAPCOM's decision.

So thankfully they did not do that and stuck to the integrity of BH2.

Including not giving her advanced regeneration.

But I see a big plot hole in Rebecca getting bitten by T-Virus infected monkeys and not getting infected.

And who said anything about gameplay, we're talking about characters coming back, I think plot is the main thing here.
