    I hope the events in this film is the result of the first use of the C-Virus. And it would be cool if Jake had a cameo as a mercenary but his significance is not revealed of course until Bio 6.

    Ada being all but confirmed is excellent news. Hopefully it will shed some light on what she's been doing since Bio4. I also hope Simmons has a role.

    Got high hopes for this, can't wait until the reveal.

    "He must engage in battle even more fierce than in the previous film."

    God I hope so, I could barely stay awake through the first film. The fact that Leon showed less movement or emotion than a card board cutout in most scenes didn't help. Still, I'm excited for this flick. Any word yet on Mercier returning or if it's the RE6 VA, or neither?

    Message from the Filmmakers:
    "When I spoke to the audience at the opening day of 'Resident Evil: Degeneration', I said, 'I promise we will be back if you show us your support.' And as I promised, we have been able to return with a new film. And of course, Leon S. Kennedy is the main character. In a not-well-known small East European nation in an ongoing civil war, with no one else on his side, he must engage in battle even more fierce than in the previous film. We're right in the midst of making it happen. Keep your expectations high!" <Makoto Kamiya (Director)>

    "As a result of an exhaustive pursuit of what we can do and what we want to do, we have come up with a film that way surpasses its predecessor in a time of great changes begins a new saga of the 'Resident Evil' franchise."
    <Shotaro Suga (Writer)>

    I believe 2012 is the Year of "Resident Evil". Several games of the franchise will be released, and then there is the live action movie and this movie -- just a whole lot coming! As a sequel to "Degeneration", we are giving all our best to creating "Damnation". It's going to be one movie that you're definitely going to enjoy. Hope you look forward to it!
    <Hiroyuki Kobayashi (Producer)>

    For the sake of all sane people, stop believing rumors rather than facts.
    Steve died on-screen, on the original CV, on CV:X and DSC. The book "Inside of DSC" says that he died. And he never was mentioned on the series ever again, except when Wesker retrieves a sample of T-Veronica from his corpse and sells it to Javier.

    Resident Evil is not Dragon Ball Z and characters can't die and revive like that.

    It has been confirmed twice on-screen, and many more times throughout supplemental material. What is giving you the impression that he is alive? It was never a cliffhanger, this is a false impression some people seem to have gotten from a line that was intended as a snide remark to annoy another character. Don't use the "no confirmation" excuse when you have nothing to go on yourself.

    Steve was initially cautious of Claire as a companion, but he was gradually attracted to her strength and beauty and began to be more affectionate. He became a monster after being administered t-Veronica, and attacked Claire at Alexia's command, but his consciousness remained and he defied the command and protected Claire at the last moment, and died.

    In addition, Steve's corpse was taken away from the Antarctic as a precious sample by Wesker, who wanted t-Veronica.

    "I love you Claire....uuuhhhhhhh...." - Steve
    "He's dead" - Wesker

    And that "maybe he will come back alive" is some random shit Wesker just said to annoy Claire.
    After 13 years, do you believe he would come back, better yet, come back ALIVE?
