Motion/face capture is based on the English dialogue, and often the translator is in charge of voice direction (like with BH4). The visuals have just as much to do with localization as the dialogue.

So the producers or powers that be are perfectly fine with the fact that Ada comes across rather vile and different from a perspective that most people would notice is odd and not do anything because...? If the motion capture is based on the English dialogue then it's safe to say they, the powers that be, are content with the voice direction and dialogue that was used. Which brings me back to the point that she comes across rather sadistic and more vile then normal which lead me to the point that it may not be Ada but Carla. And wasn't there an interview where they talked about wanting to put more of a romance between Leon and Ada in the movie and they were flat out told no because of RE6? Hm.

So Edonia is December 2012 in which Carla aka Ada kills an entire team. I guess that leaves the Ada Wong campaign which is on a submarine which is possible to take place before December 2012. We don't even know if she had to undergo the chrysalis transformation more then once or really anything about it which is why I said it's speculative. As for Ada Wong being the real deal in the movie I still have my reservations on the whole matter and for good reasons but you have to watch the film. RE4 and Separate Ways worked well though because she was very evasive in the main game and her side of the story didn't contradict anything. Nothing is contradicted really in Damnation but you just need to watch the movie to see what we're talking about. She acts like Ada but she comes off very sadistic and seems to pride herself on the matter of having an international arrest warrant. Unless someone who has played the game can tell us what the deal is with this I'm going to have my reservations. Although if it is Ada and she was working with Simmons, then perhaps it may make sense why he'd frame her considering she has now made herself high profile after this event. Just have to wait till Oct 2nd.

Yes, I know it takes place during 2011. Resident Evil 6 does not only take place during 2013 as there are the Republic of Edonia which is supposed to be 2012 according to what's been leaked or discovered. It's in this scenario that is presumed to show the fake Ada tossing the grenade and wiping out Chris's team which is speculated to be the fake Ada in 2012. The clip you're referring to shows a chrysalid transforming in between what Ada is looking at in the file and it even shows a clip of Helena getting up close and personal. Trailers do splicing all the time and mix words that don't match up with what is going on in the clip. We also don't know when that part takes place as it looks to be the Ada Wong campaign and most likely aboard the submarine which is the first stage (can possibly even take place before the Edonia matter).

You're speculating that Ada in Damnation is the real Ada when she doesn't even act like the character and seems to be quite sadistic and all based on a trailer without even playing the game. I don't agree with your conclusion but only time will tell and I guess we'll both have to wait till October 2nd to find out the truth.

Edonia takes place in December 2012. Six months before is still 2012.

Personally, I think it's Ada. They just used a different translator from BH6, so she sounds much more like a devious cunt than she actually is. She was more devious in BH4 too, with Separate Ways portraying her differently due to, again, different translators. Same thing with Leon's douchebaggery.

I don't know why you're saying Carla has not been created yet as the game is not out nor do you or anyone else knows what the extent of this frame work is yet.

It's obviously Carla as Ada. She doesn't even really act like Ada Wong: "My name is Ada Wong and I was sent here by the B.S.A.A." is not in the character of Ada. She doesn't go around and introduces herself to people right off the bat and say she works for so and so. Also her constant sadistic smiling should've been a dead give away for you.

The ending to this movie plays out in the same context of Degeneration with Tricell obtaining the G-Virus sample and that lead into RE5 "the tricell name" at least.

The end even has Carla/Ada say "Although I sorta liked the idea of adding an international arrest warrant to my profile" followed up by a sadistic grin. The real Ada does not try to make herself notice while this one went all out.

Resident Evil Damnation takes place in 2011. Resident Evil 6 takes place in 2013. If you subtract the six months from when the recording Ada discovers in Resident Evil 6 was made, it's still going to be 2012.
