I don't mean valid arguments for example old school fans not liking how the series has gone in this new direction.

What I mean is people who without thought or even looking at what is there just instantly assume it's a COD rip off or a Gears of War clone. People instantly post Gears of Evil for example just because it has spread into this mass trend.

Maybe I made a mistake in posting this, but all I intended was for you guys to post messages that clearly is not opinion but uncalled for hate towards the game.

A difference between wanting sales from COD and BEING COD, RE is nothing like Call of Duty.

Unless a Third Person Shooter fighting mutating monsters while having less ammo and collecting health items is like COD.

But let's look into this more:

Third Person Shooter
Limited Ammo
Collect Green and Red Herbs to health yourself
Mutating monsters
Enemies going into a Cocoon state to mutate into complete monsters
Zombies
Huge Snakes
Building sized monsters
Diving, rolling and tons of movement options.
Advanced Melee system depending on what weapon you are using.
Characters that we have known since 1996 and actually care about.
Puzzles including collecting keys, turning power back on to trains and other things
Stalking Nemesis monster

And many more.

So that is Call of Duty? what company does not want more sales? does not mean they want to transform something to be exactly like COD because they can't.

If Capcom's true intention was make a COD rip off then why was Leon's more horror based scenario included before Chris's? Why did we get Zombies back? Why did we get the more gruesome deaths and gore back? Why does even Chris run out of his ammo more easily then expected?

There was about 2 posts about it.
The first time it was CAPCOM who said they don't care about the series changes. That was when RE5 was in production.
The second time was Kawata who said he was aiming at USA's gamers with action-oriented changes and said that he used GTA IV, Call of Duty and Skyrim as examples from what I remember.

It's a COD ripoff because it has a war zone as the main scenario. And all you do is run and shoot.
Of course it's not a full ripoff, what you were expecting, that they were in the middle of the second world war?

Chris' campaign is in a middle of a war zone with armed-to-the-teeth mutant monsters.

Main Scenario? So your going to completely ignore the Jake and Leon scenarios? which makes up more of the game then just the Chris one? and it's not a mystery at this stage that a certain other character has their own scenario.

We already know for a FACT that even Chris's campaign has slower pacing more confined areas.

Yeah, you're right. It's not a war zone. It's worse. A field filled with infected intelligent monsters that are trying to kill their government enemies with all they can. Specially guns, while their government enemies tries to kill them with war tanks.

And no, I'm not talking about of Leon, Chris or Jake's scenarios, I'm talking about China, which is the main scenario.

Read this, Chris may have lots of action but times like these are certainly included, a glimpse of the snake, chasing it down not sure when the cloaking monster will pounce at you.
