The op didn't make this thread to hate or make fun of RE6. It was actually the other way around; a thread to make fun of those who dislike it and thier silly arguments. Obviously it backfired, since some people were offended by the notion, while others had apparently never heard the word "opinion". RE6 lovers and haters clashed in a fiery storm of fuck.

    The End.

Is that what the OP meant? The best I could tell from the original post, it was the other way around. Either way, most of what I said was true. This is a clusterfuckban just waiting to happen. xD

You don't have to shoot them for long or anything.

You're grasping for some seriously thin straws. I advise you to stop.
        No, not the licker part.
It's a part where there's a big spinning elevator they use to go to lower levels. Suddenly, a lot of enemies appears around, and you have to kill all of them. If you don't, the elevator can't move.

I advise you to read my words carefully.

        EDIT

          @Asteroid

It was pretty confusing and yes this thread is an abomination.

Your words were vague, and you are still grasping for straws. They are tiny, insignificant moments in the game.

Whatever, you said there were not moments like that. But there are.
Even if there weren't, it still doesn't remove my argument that the only thing you really need to do in these games is run and shoot.

Except you don't need to run and shoot. The game gives you the option, but depending on what kind of player you are, you may or may not choose to do so. Some people just run for the hills. Others enjoy killing every last enemy. The same can be said for the older games.

The problem is, in the older games you needed to run, shoot if you wanted, find keys, solve puzzles, combine items to get a key and read files to get a solution for a puzzle. All of this was kinda needed to beat the game, in the newer ones, the only thing you need to know to beat the game is how to play the gameplay good. The rest is not needed to beat the game.

Puzzles are a different matter altogether, and most things people consider "puzzles" in this series are basic fetch quests involving back-tracking or simply running around different areas looking for items to open some convoluted, unrealistic lock, which can get insidiously frustrating and boring. Very few files (if any) ever had solutions to puzzles. Maybe once or twice they had a keycode or combination in them, but that's hardly a "puzzle" is it? There's nothing to solve when the game outright gives you the answer or the solution. BH5 has more puzzles than BH2. Don't see anyone giving BH2 shit for it.

Well what in the fuck do you do in these games?

Progress. Sometimes running is enough, sometimes you might need to shoot. It varies and neither one is really essential (barring minor points in whatever game). It's up to the player.

Darkmoon must be away today, I asked him this morning to delete the thread or did I make a mistake and think he was a admin?

Silent Hill also gives the solution to his piano puzzle, does that make it the answer for the solution? No!
You have to use your head and solve it yourself sometimes.

Carn is the admin but DM can lock it.

So not content with telling everyone how the series was written and intended, he's now teling people how to play it!
