This slightly worked in game, but the problem i had was the graphics started to go distorted. Basically to do this, launch The Sims 2 or The Sims 3, build a room with about the same dimensions as the one you wanna replace, add objects were they should be (Tables, Chairs, Etc), then screenshot it, convert to jpg and resize it. Then rename it to the file of the room you wanna replace.
