Minimum write speed of 10x.
I recorded the game Hot Wheels Turbo Racing and it worked without problems.
And then turned nonsense.
While it is desirable to record the game at 4-8x, this I know.
They say that it is desirable to use disks Verbatim or TDK.
I recorded on SmartTrack.

Not true, it more about maintaing a constant write speed so it doesn't go up or down, when the buffer cache underuns it'll drop the write speed to compensate because your ram isn't fast enough to maintain the caching at the same speed, not really a issue with modern hardware sata drives but the older ide drives on p4 512mb ram had problems burning above 6x, burning miniDVD for ngc is major pita finding quality media is a mindfield.
