not to be nit picky but the "unused" parts are used between when Leon gets shot and Leon saves ada from the alligator before he gets bandaged up by ada.

I stand corrected, there's also a betaish what I think is a early attempt at bandaged skin on one of the demo's or beta2.

You mean this? Its on the Trial Leon's model as well as the beta 2's model but I don't think that the final, beta or the trial Leon's model can actually use it as the arm texture as it is completely set up different to Leon's arms for all three models. Probably a left over part from the prototype leon or a concept that leon was shot in the arm instead of the chest. It could be either way, since leon is wearing a watch on his arm it suggests that it could be to do with the prototype.
