['You are one of us now' Part #2 Scene]
(This fix some parts of the other script. This one is much more clear but I still miss one word at the end of the second sentence).
Original:
- Don Esteban: Hay un rumor que hay un extranjero entre nosotros. (CORRECTION: It's 'extranjero' instead of 'extraño')
- Don Manuel: Nuestro jefe se encargará de la rata... Y si la plaga es mucho mejor que la...¿?
- Don Esteban: Tienes razón... es un hombre.
-Don Manuel laughs and sounds Leon falling-
Translation:
- Don Esteban: There's a rumor that there's a foreigner among us.
- Don Manuel: Our chief will take care of that rat... And if the plague is much better than the...¿?
- Don Esteban: You're right... he's a man. (This could also be translated as: 'You're right... he's just a man' and it fits better)
-Don Manuel laughs and sounds Leon falling-
[Ada's run Scene]
Original:
- Don José: ¡Ni un paso más!
- Don Esteban: ¡Rápido!
- Don Diego: ¡Por aquí no vas a pasar!
- Don Manuel: ¡Te cogí!
- Don José: ¡Allí está!
- Don Esteban: ¡Cogédlo!
...And then, the dard
- Don Manuel: ¡Te cogí! ¡Aquí!
Translation:
- Don José: Neither one step further!
- Don Esteban: Quick!
- Don Diego: You're not gonna pass through here!
- Don Manuel: I catch you!
- Don José: There he is! (The same error that with Ashley. They didn't make VO for the mob with orders for the women)
- Don Esteban: Catch him!
...And then, the dard
- Don Manuel: I catch you! Here!
[Yeap, more crazy cult people Scene]
Original:
- The men: Morir es vivir. Morir es vivir. Morir es vivir. Morir es vivir.
Translation:
- The men: To die is to live. To die is to live. To die is to live. To die is to live.
There are some parts in the script that I can't understand at all, if anyone can post what you think they say I'll be very grateful n_n.Last edited by Ridley W. Hayes; 08-08-2008, 06:08 PM.

Here are some corrections I would make, but that might also be since I've grown up learning two different regional dialects (South American and Carribbean Spanish)
• "¡Búsquenlo y rómpanlo en pedazos!" I think would better translate to "Find him and break him into peices!"
• "¡Te cogí!" - "I got/found/caught you!". Either one can be used in the translation and still mean the same as "te cogi".
• "¡Ni un paso más!" - "Not one more step!" or "Not another step!"
• "Coño", it's a slang word for pussy in my girlfriends country, but as Ridley pointed out, it can be used the same way we would say "Fuck!", "Damn!", "Shit!" out of frustration/anger.
• "¡Agárrenlo!" - "Grab him!"
• "Vayan por detrás." - "Go around back." Essentially instructing the others to go around to catch him from the other side.
• "¡Se vuelve loco!" - "It's going crazy"
• "¡No dejéis que se escape!" - "Don't let him escape!"Last edited by Project Omega; 08-11-2008, 11:59 AM.
