Whilst i sort of understand why THIA is doing this, i can't help but thinking it's playing into their hands a little. Since i was tempobanned and took some time out from the forum to let things die down i'd always listen to the podcast whenever it was released.

But i think to only publicise these events in the new podcast (that will inevitably be listened to a lot of people who won't hang on RE forums since it's on iTunes now) will have a hugely detrimental effect in the long run for THIA more than it will for SiteWars, it only stands to spread their word for them and i don't think that's the way to go about it.

THIS is a long term project, SiteWars will inevitably cease to exist when they're all bored and discover girls anyway.

I wouldn't know where to start with hacking websites, but it makes me feel proud that I'm probably 100x more intelligent than Beasley and all his five bum buddies put together.

That residentjunkie sent me yesterday before getting band I doint now what it was but I just removed it.

There trolls are just been wankers it may sound daff but it may be a good idea to close the registration again just for a while until all the trolls have been found and removed from the site.

The failboat just keeps sailing here. This is just too good not to share. So we had a spam attack by a user under the name "residentjunkie" shortly after John infiltrated them. I banned the account and got an email reply from the account owner:

OOOOOOOOOHHHHHH!!! Look I am defying you and replying! You don't know my true Identity and good job banning my proxy!!! Well Done! Just to get this off my chest you are a horrible mod, and more people can't stand you than you realize. But I shall continue to post on my REAL THIA account. Buh BYE!!! Asshat.

So I took a look and searched the IP address he used. Turns out, he had a month old account here as well, which he used the same proxy to register with (great job). So thats two accounts.

Last night, a user by the name of "Optimus006" tried to register. Before approving, I took a look at the IP. It was linked to a proxy, so his registration was denied. I got an email soon after, from our good friend residentjunkie:

I noticed this on the Forums a little bit ago, if you are quick you can look at who is online and know that I am one of them.

~~The next guy was banned after he started spamming us after the first ones ban. He then emailed me, admitting that he had another THIA account. So once again, I used his email as a base and quickly found it.~~~

If you are refering to me then no you have not found my real account yet. Nice try but I am not that dense to use the same Email. So you need to be carefull who you ban thinking it's me in the future. Later and happy hunting.

Much to my surprise, Optimus006 also sent me an email, about 45 minutes after that email:

It's good that the provider that hosted the site is currently looking into their actions, which could get the site shut down, providing if they have got enough evidence to follow this action

Might as well try and close their site that has kept causing trouble eh, than them trying to keep havok on the community

I have to admit at first I was in shock I did not want to belive that Mr. Spencer had betrayed us I was really dissopinted to hear it but im so Glad to know Mr. Spencer was only doing it to root out any spys that were up to no good.

I've just been in contact with this site war's site provider, informing them of what they have been doing and bridging certain issues of certain laws such as the data protection act, providing evidence of these claims. Just got to wait and get a response now to see what they can do about it.

No. What's the worst they could do? The site is patched and fixed now so there is no security breach, and to be honest I think the previous threat was a load of hot air anyway. I don't take them for intelligent computer hackers, rather, whiny little trolls who like to say anything possible to cause trouble. The worst they could possibly do now is spam, like they always have before, and that's what we have banhammers for.
