Being Rude Stops Now

I notic members starting to get really rude to other members for no reason I doint like that it's uncalled for there been childish for no reason hopefully now they will start to behave them selfs now.

Arguments and debates are fine. Personal attacks aren't. We're a discussion community, so feel free to discus. You wanna get nasty and personal? There are other sites that allow, hell, even encourage it.

Thats good because if I knew what those sites were, then I would have a lot of things to say and do to all those "members" who harassed me and others as well. I guess some other time on a different site.

Ya know, if you guys are gonna be cracking down and showing 'no mercy' on "personal attacks" and "being rude," why not go ahead and branch out into things like double-posting, spamming and other things that are frowned upon? Or are things like that just not important enough?

You're right, they are an issue as well. They're just not as big a one. A double post I can live with a lot easier than a personal attack. But yes, all the rules are gonna have to be enforced a little more. Personal attacks are simply a priority.

I agree with Hellrizer. We don't want this to be one of those sites that nobody goes on because every little thing, or mistake, they do gets them banned. You don't want to be known as the Nazi's of the RE community, do you?

Alright this is my original post that I have delete it by accident. It was a post to disagree with Chrisredfield29.

"Whats the reason for that? So you want to punish someone for making a mistake? We all make mistakes when we post but you want to punish them for that reason? Its a human's way to make mistakes and there is nothing we can do about it. Punishing someone is not going to stop those mistakes from happening. Now, Being rude is another subject. Being rude is not a mistake instead its what they are 90% of the time. I understand what you are going with but its not right."

And things like spam or double posting will earn you an infraction, not a ban. Being rude or nasty will earn you, interestingly, rather more infraction points but unless you're being a real piece of work it won't earn you a ban, most times.
