Resident Evil Revelations Unveiled Edition received a score of 9/9/10/8 from Famitsu reviewers. The score is the same across all consoles.

For reference purpose, the 3DS version scored a near perfect 10/10/9/10.

Why did it score less this time? I'm disapointing that the texture quality has only been mildly improved and that all cutscenes are pre-rendered.

Same game second time around, even with the new adjustments and stuff its hard to repeat the same experience twice.

The reviewers allow hype to influence their reviews, generally if a game has a lot of hype they are more forgiving of the flaws. More hype is built....by more coverage in the mag. Revelations HD is a port and Capcom didn't feature it as much as the 3DS game.
